Betty awokened from her heavy sleep, her eyes falling open. Instead of finding herself in the same dark room, she was in a different bedroom, daylight shining through the curtains.

"Where am I?" She whispered, her eyes widening in shock as she looked over the room. Five people were standing around her, their eyes focused solely on her. She felt some bandages wrapped around the cuts on her body.

"Hey," She knew that voice. The dark haired man stood there, a soft smile crossing his face. Betty couldn't help but stare at him. "You slept through the whole night. Do you remember me?

Betty nodded silently, captured by his eyes, which had turned more blue-like in the lightning. "Do you want something? We got you something to eat, and to drink." It was a pink haired girl who stepped up to her now. She was holding a plate filled with deliciously smelling foods and a cup filled with hot water.

"I'll throw up." Betty just mumbled, crawling into the white sheets. "Why are you giving me food? Do I need to do something for you?"

The entire group showed frowns on their faces. "What do you mean?" It was the male from her dreams that asked it.

"Why else would you take me? Didn't you hire me from Maya?"

He shook his head at her, kneeling down beside her bed. Betty gently sat herself up straight and looked into the man's eyes. "I did not hire you from anyone. I took you because you've been treated horribly by your sister."

"I haven't, she's great." Betty glanced over the group, and only spotted confused faces.

"I know this is a lot to take in, but you're sister is not a good person. You've just been used to it, because she's been telling you that it's alright." Betty shook her head desperately, confused, but not hurt.

"I don't get you." She admitted honestly. "Who even are you?"

"I'm Jughead Jones." He held out his hand for her to shake, and it took Betty back to the nights she dreamt about him.

"I'm Betty Cooper." She said, gently folding her hand in his and shaking it. His hand was soft, but with a few hard edges to it.

"Betty? but I thought your name was-"

"Elizabeth? That's just what Maya calls me. I already guessed you found me through her." Betty explained, tucking her blonde locks behind her ear.

"So, this is Toni, Fangs, Sweet Pea, and Cheryl." Jughead spoke, his finger pointing over the several people in the room.  "You really should eat something." He proceeded to say, his voice tender. He grabbed a piece of fruit from the plate and handed it to her.

Betty smiled sweetly at him. "I want to eat it, trust me, but I'll throw it up. For the past week I've thrown every bit of food up after it entered my body." Jughead was surprised at her confident tone, and the fact that she wasn't scared of them at all.

"Just try, okay. We have a bowl here if you need to vomit. Cheryl is in a medical study, she'll find a medicine to help you stop throwing up." He pointed to the read headed girl in the back, who waved sweetly.

"Okay." Betty answered, taking the fruit from Jughead's hand. With hesitation, she took a bite. Her stomach started rambling for more, and Betty couldn't help but set her teeth in the fruit once again.

For the first time she actually finished the entire piece of fruit, before nausea filled her body.

She instantly reached for the bowl, vomiting out all the vitamins that just entered her body.

"It's okay." Jughead whispered, holding her hair up while Toni held the bowl beneath her mouth.
