Kaleo thought about it every day. About what he should do and how he should do it. If he was being honest with himself, he was afraid as he felt that he had already failed. Even when he reached a decision, doubts were still brewing in his head.

He sat in the club room, brooding over it anxiously. It was a Friday, the day where everyone was said to be present though Akane and William were missing - he was told they had something going on.

"Do you think she will come?" he asked no one in particular.

Two days ago, he sent a message to Lysa asking her to meet here as they usually did. However, she left him on read, which left him rather crushed.

"She will." Much to everyone's surprise, it was James who spoke.

"You sound confident," Helen commented.

Kaleo wished he shared that confidence. It was already 10 minutes past the time he asked to meet and his hope was diminishing by the second.

He perked up when he heard sounds from outside. Before he could figure out what they were, Julia entered the room while ushering Lysa in. "Don't be shy, come on in."

"You came," he said, relieved.

Lysa gave him a tiny nod, but she was avoiding his eyes, clutching her right arm. Her heartbeat and rapid intakes of breath told him that she was afraid and was trying to calm herself down.

They just stood like that for a few awkward moments. The tension was so thick that he could cut it with a knife.

"Um... I need to do some paperwork now..." Julia exited out of the room quickly.

The teenagers were looking at each other, frantically trying to figure out a way to remove the tense atmosphere.

Jones let out a purposeful cough.

Kaleo wanted to say something but no words came out. He kept stopping himself before he could speak, scared that he would mess up and say the wrong things again.

"Alright, I had enough," Cailin declared. Dragging Helen and James to help her, they, along with Irvin, set up a mini circle of chairs and got everyone to sit down. "Today, we are going to talk about our feelings."

"Not to be the wet blanket here," Helen began, "but I highly doubt this is going to work-"

"Silence, sis," she jested. "You start. Everyone's waiting."

"Ugh..."

It was awkward, to say the least. When it was Kaleo's turn, he didn't say anything, and neither did Lysa. How were they supposed to explain everything without revealing the big secret anyway?

After roughly eight minutes, Cailin conceded. "Looks like we have to take drastic measures," she said, much too casually, and stood up. "Let's go."

"Where?" Kaleo asked.

"You will see."

Kaleo's eyes were wide with bewilderment when they reached their destination. "Wait a minute, why are we at Rosenberg High? I thought it is the holidays now, so there will be no one here. Wait, can we even go in?"

"Don't worry, as long as you are with us, there won't be a problem," Cailin said confidently, walking up to the security guard. "Not to mention there's always one dude who comes back to school nearly every day."

"Oh, it's you four," the security guard said, giving them a smile. "And you brought a few new friends too. Don't forget to sign in and out."

After everyone wrote down the necessary information, he let them through.
