He mentioned forever
He claims to be my forever
I understood it wasn't going to last forever
regardless I took a chance
Knowing that nothing is ever forever/long-lasting
He made a vow
He couldn't fulfill
Said he will never flee
Yet I saw his tail
He was leaving
All those promises
Were fabricated from the beginning
He abandoned me like everyone else
Alone, to deal with my emotions
I sat and speculated about
How it could have been if he would have revealed his true motives from the very start
Perhaps, everything would have been different
I wouldn't have wasted time thinking he was my darling.
He made it seem like it was me
I already had learned he found someone new
Can't lie and say it's my fault when you already replaced me
You constantly said I was irreplaceable
Yet, I saw you walking hand in hand
Grinning, peering so happy.
