I woke up to my alarm playing my favourite song. After stretching my arms for a few minutes, I walked into my bathroom and quickly finished my mourning routine.
Although I owned my own business, I didn't feel content. I was shocked as I saw the clock. Oh my god, I am going to be late for the meeting. A big company wanted to work with Kurs, which excited me, since my employees and I worked extremely hard to improve.
Ezra's P.O.V.
Today is the day I will meet her again. She was my wife. No, she still is my wife. I never signed the divorce papers. Only she did... I was still angry at her for leaving me. Somehow I wanted revenge for the pain that I had to endure.
Ezra was enraged, but he still loved her dearly. After his manager proposed to collaborate with a new company and he saw Ciara's name enlisted as the owner, he was eager to make this deal happen. He wanted to see her badly. After all these years.
Being lost in his thoughts, he carressed his wedding ring that he was still wearing. Even though the break up affected hin severly, he never stopped loving you. You guys knew each other from College. Being broke and insecure, she was everything he could have ever asked for. He knew she was the only one who loved him for himself. Now he was rich, ripped and dripping in confidence. Women would do anything to be with him. However, he wasn't interested. The only woman he wanted was Ciara.
Ciara's P.O.V.
Shoot. Only ten minutes left. Okay, Ciara just stay calm. Five minutes before the meeting started I was standing in front of the huge door of the meeting hall. Arranging my documents neatly, I walked in with confidence and my head held high. However, I was shocked to see the person I would have never guessed to meet again. Especially not in such a setting.
