Even though Monster Legends was prospering quite well without most of the Legendary Monsters, there were still some psychological problems that affected lots of monsters because or unrelated to the arena battle.

Some monsters like Wyrmlad, Zunobia and Gurlik were found in various points of the arena following Scryb's death. Some were unconsious, buried, half-dead, or hiding from the terror outside.

O'Reilly was the lead psychologist of the Monsters and was quite good. He cured most monsters in an instant, with his mysterious methods and impeccable humor. There was only one Monster that seemed incurable to the vast mind of the leprechaun.

Dr. Marihelson was exposed to enormous amounts of radiation, thus leaving him disfigured and unable to move his legs or arms. He came out of the arena with a gaping hole in his chest, blabbering nonsense and the Warmaster code (an ancient dialect of the Warmasters). O'Reilly had three sessions with him, but nothing seemed to crack his impenetrable shell.

"What is the cost of warfare," he muttered, his yellow teeth almost matching O'Reilly's bright orange beard.

"I don't understand, what have you come here for, lad?" the small Monster asked, with no audible response from Marihelson. The doctor just sat silently and shook his head while shedding a single tear every minute or two.

This was until Marihelson saw Dr. Winter.

Winter was a new psychologist and a student of Uriel's. She possessed a great likability and a talent of relating with her patients. When Marihelson entered, Winter immediately kneeled down and looked him in the eyes.

"War is horrid, yes?" she asked.

"Look what it has done to this place. The Warmasters were not the correct leadership, but with half the protection of this land gone, we are susceptible to attack from supporters of monarchy or foreign armies. The price has already taken a large toll, which we were not stable enough to buy. Taiga may be competent, but I wonder..."

"Yes? Continue," said Winter.

"I wonder how long he can keep the collective views from destroying one another."

Marihelson was shortly hospitalized for his increasingly severe wounds, but was stable mentally thanks to his recent experience. One session with Winter and he was cleaned. Like a dark cloud of confusion had been cleared.

Taiga, Kimber, Shadow and Uriel approached the psychology building, eager to meet whoever Uriel was referring to. Taiga looked to his right to see Devastress, the sister of The Devastator, who had been killed in the arena.

"Bastard!" she screamed, making Taiga sigh, but continue. Kimber's shoulders stiffened, as her temper overcame better judgement.

"It's Scryb you should be cursing," started Kimber, stomping toward the protestor. "Taiga saved you all, not the other way 'round. Your friend died from the Warmaster rule."

"Taiga will only become a Warmaster in time. There's already Sherry and Remmy by his side, so that's three. Hey, you're basically a Warmaster yourse-" blabbed Devastress, not seeing her opponent's nostrils flare, along with a hardened fist sailing towards  her temple.

Devastress attempted to block the blow, but the hit was too quick. It connected fiercely, sending the muscular monster a few meters away and onto the grassy path. She held her already swollen face in major pain while limping away from the scene.

"Kimber, stop doing things like that, please," demanded Taiga. "That will only rile up more people."

"I can't stand and watch those idiots protest your rule without knowing what really happened," she argued, picking fresh blood from her fingertips. "It infuriates me."
