Spider-man: Start of a hero

Becoming The Hero

It's 11am when I decide to wake up. I get out of bed and realize I'm not tired, instead I feel stronger and more energized than before.

I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I begin to comb my hair and look in the mirror. I notice the scrape on my face is gone.

I rub the place where it was and begin to think to myself. This liquid can heal me? I leave the bathroom to go to my room and get dressed.

I put on my white shirt with blue jeans and leave out my room. I head for the door when my Mom stops me. “ where are you going? " I stop for a second and think.

What do I say? What can I tell her to not make her worry? Wait, I've got it. “ I'm going downtown Mom, I heard that everyone saw some kind of Spider-man down there" she nods and says “ well be careful, he only heads towards trouble" I walk out the door and head towards the nearest alley.

I think of the white liquid and it covers my body. I take off swinging and head for the tallest building downtown. I land on the side of it and use my webs to slingshot up it.

I land on it and look over for something to do. Now that I'm Spider-man I should be stopping crime, but the city is so peaceful today, I might have to just swing around. I begin to leave when I hear gun shots. I look down and see it's coming from the bank.

I swing down to it and stop on its roof. I open the skylight slowly and quietly and crawl in. I see the men guarding hostages and trying to access the vault. I attach a web line to the ceiling and lower myself down behind one of the men.

I land on the ground behind him and stand silently. I quickly web his face and arms together and trip kick his legs. He lands on the ground trying to make a sound, but no one hears him.

I throw him on the ceiling and shoot a web to make him stick to it. I jump up and stick back to the ceiling. Let's see, 10 men, 1 down, this could take a while. I look to see the men with guns all in one area. I jump behind them and attach a web line to each of them.

I swing them around and slam them into a wall, knocking them unconscious. The other men notice me and begin to swarm me. I punch one in the face, knocking him back and web shoot another in the face.

One tries to sneak behind me and slash me with a knife. I dodge and grab his arm, pulling it and slamming him against the floor. I kick the last man against a wall and web him to it.

I look around to see the all the men have been subdued. I go for the hostages and begin to untie them. “ thanks Spider-man, it's good to know there are real heroes out there" the woman says as I untie her. I feel a tingle in the back of my head and turn around to see a man in spandex like suit looking at me.

“ catch Spider-man" he throws a grenade at me and runs off. I tag him with a web line and then the grenade explodes. It blows me back, causing me to blast through the window. The man I tagged with a web line gets yanked towards me and hits the floor.

I get up and web him to the floor. He looks at me angry. “ you'll pay for this I swear when I find you I'll make you-" I web his mouth close and laugh at him. “ I'm sorry, were you saying something?"

I take off out the now blown open window as the swat and police swarm inside the bank. I land on the nearest building and look at my chest. It's completely healed from the grenade explosion.

This liquid is amazing, I wonder what else it can do. I begin to think for a moment to make the liquid do something when tendril like appendages form out my body. This is awesome. I make them pick up a nearby rock and throw it to what looks like three blocks away.

I guess these tendrils are strong but I'll only use them when I need extra appendages. I retract them back and swing away. I go home and crawl in through my window. I look at the clock to see it's 8:30. I guess mom and Jackie are at work. I conceal the white liquid under my clothes and lay on my bed.

I hope tomorrow is just like today. I close my eyes and go to sleep.
