Technomancer Evolved

This isn't good

A Technodroid punches me in the chest and I fly back into a car. I slump to my knees to look up and see the Technodroids hand formed into a cannon. It stares at me as it's cannon glows bright red.

I'm too tired to move. We've taken down these things dozens of times and they keep coming. They're unstoppable.

I close my eyes now I don't have to look at it when I hear a sound.Zzzt. I open them to see the Technodroid fallen backwards onto the ground. I nearly fall myself until I hear his voice.

“ get up Spider-man, if anyone's gonna kill you it'll be me."

I look over at him to see he's fighting a couple Technodroids by himself.

Thanks Rockwell, that's the nicest threat I've ever gotten.

I rise to my feet and look at my wrist shooter's. I set them for high pulse and shoot the Technodroids by Rockwell. They fall down and he looks at me.“ be careful, you could've shut down my suit."

I walk over to him and stare at the Technodroids. “ is there anyway you could make the EMP shooter's stronger? That way we can shut down all the Technodroids in this area and pursue after Technomancer." He stares at one of the Technodroids chest and reaches into it.

“ there should be a part in here that can absorb the EMP shooter's blast and emit it over a larger area. It's a theory, it might just explode, I'm not sure." He takes out a large sliver orb from it's chest.

“ the metal it's made from is what will react from the EMP, so it being depowered isn't a problem." He places it on the ground and walks away. “ I'm heading in the building so my suit isn't affected, meet me after you set it off." I nod and he walks away.

I charge up my EMP shooters as high as they'll go to get as strong a pulse as possible. I release it and shoot the orb. It charges up and I head toward the building. I go for the door when a Technodroid tackles me. I try to shake it off but fail. It raises its fist which turns into a blade. It tries to bring it down when a loud sound occurs.

Zzzzzzttttt

The Technodroid stops cold in its tracks. I kick it off and roll over to my stomach. I get up and head into the building. I look around for Rockwell but can't find him. I walk around and hear a screech over the P.A. system.

“ hello Spider-man, looking for your buddy Rockwell I see. Well don't worry, he's wandering around just like you. I bet you both want to find me. I'll give you both a chance to find me. All you have to do is meet me in the sub level. Come if you dare, but face me in my evolved form if you do."

Evolved form? He evolved from connecting with the database?

I walk down the hall to see Rockwell coming from the other side. “ so what's the plan Spider-man? Do we just run in there or plan a strategy?" I look at the elevator on the side of us. “ I'll distract him, you figure out how to shut him down."

“ I guess I could, but it'll take time. Try using your EMP shooters against him, from what I've noticed his tech is weak against them." I nod and we enter the elevator. It hums and we head downward.

It stops abruptly and Rockwell looks at the panel. “ we haven't reached the sub level yet, something's wrong." Almost immediately Technomancer cuts in.

“ sorry gentlemen, but your gonna have to work to reach me." The elevator drops and plummets down toward the bottom. I hang onto the bar and kick open the top. “ come on Rockwell!" He flies through it and I follow him. I jump off the elevator and form wings. I fly up until I see Rockwell standing by an open doorway.

I enter and look around to see the sign by the doorway. “ sub level 1" I see Rockwell staring through a window and I walk toward him. I look out it to see Technomancer standing in the middle of the room. The walls and floor covered in sliver with silver orbs floating around.

“ the guy sure loves silver. Okay, I'll go distract him, you figure out how to shut him down." He nods and I walk toward the door. I open it and he looks at me. He's all silver now with the big T on his chest glowing a super bright red. His eyes glowing bright red as well. “ welcome Spider-man, is Mr.Rockwell gonna come in as well?"

“ he's busy with something at the moment, but he'll be in soon enough." He stares at the window and smirks. “ you mean when he finds a way to shut me down?"

I step back a bit and smirk as well. “ I should've known you'd hear us. You're already connected to most of this building, so tell me, how are you evolved from before?" He grins and his eyes turn darker red. “ my control over technology is stronger than before. I can now manipulate my form however I please. And best of all, Rockwell's supply of psyrillium allows me to manipulate it as well."

“ well, that is evolved. But we can still take you down no matter how evolved you are." He steps back and holds his hand toward one of the floating orbs. “ I guess the only way to prove it to you is to kill you!" He swipes his hand forward and the orb grows spikes as it hurls toward me. I jump up and stick to the ceiling. The spiked orb stops and heads toward me again. I jump down and the orb gets stuck in the ceiling. It drops down and freezes in place. “ good job Spider-man, dodging that one orb is too easy, why not a greater challenge?"

This can't be good

The orb turns into many smaller spiked orbs. I step back and they charge at me. I jump to the side but three of them hit my leg. I hold it in my arms but the orbs begin charging again. I duck them and shoot a web at them, causing them to stick to the wall.

“ that won't stop them Spider-man."

Almost immediately a silver liquid slips out the webbing on the wall. It seeps to the ground and forms back into spiked silver orbs.

Rockwell better hurry, I don't know how long I can keep this up

They charge again and I run toward a wall. I run up it and to the ceiling.

“ nice try Spider-man, but I can manipulate everything in this room, even the room itself." A huge spike comes out the ceiling and strapes my right arm. I drop down and stick to the wall. A spike comes out of it and stabs through my hand. A shriek of pain escapes my lips and I fall to the ground. The symbiote heals my hand and Technomancer stares at it.

“ nice trick, healing yourself, but all your doing is prolonging your death!" He charges at me this time and punches me. I jerk back and punch him back. I trip kick him and he falls to the floor. He lifts his leg and kicks me into the wall. I form a blade from my hand and point it at him. “ stop this now Technomancer before I have to kill you! "

He smirks at me. “ go ahead and try Spider-man! I'm technology now, you can't kill technology!"

I'll have to try
