Ross POV
I was on my way home. Barely spoke to anyone I didn't want too. I wanted to sit in this plane on this long way back just thinking. Thinking is all I could do at this point.
When I got home at 4 am Rock was waiting for me. I hadn't told Eden I was back. I didn't want her knowing. I wanted to surprise her but at the same time, I didn't want her seeing me like this. I was down.
Rock picked up on it. He was a brother to me and he knew me quite well. If Rock noticed my behavior then Eden will surely notice it too and I didn't want that. I already had my bag ready to go. I had picked it up before I told Rock to come get me.
"What did you do?" Rock asked me.
"I don't want to talk about it," I said.
I got in the driver seat before he could get in.
He ignored the interrogation further. Because he knew how mad I would get if he continued to press for information that I don't want to share right now.
I didn't want to drive home right now. I didn't feel like facing Eden right now. I put one hand brushing my hair against the cool air and one on the steering wheel. Luckily there wasn't any traffic at this time.
Rock knew me as I mentioned he knew when I wanted to be left alone and not talk to anyone.
"Do me a favor Rock. Not a word to Eden that I'm back and also make sure the guys don't say anything either. Have Olivianna come to where I will be staying I need to talk to her".
"Will you be staying at hell's land?" I gave him an are you stupid look! Eden would look for me there if she found out I was back.
"Nah I'm staying at my penthouse in New Farm"
I said driving faster than anticipated."Okay want me to stay with you,? how long will you be staying there?"
"No, I need you to stay with Eden make sure Stoner and his gang don't show up to start problems, and just a couple of days enough to clear my head"
"Okay," Rock said nodding his head to the loud rock music I put on the radio. I was surprised he was able to hear me.
He knew when to leave me alone and not press me for questions. But he did know something was wrong but he made no intention of asking or finding out.
I made it to my penthouse. I grabbed my bag said my goodbye to Rock and headed inside. But before I went fully in the house Rock stopped me.
"When do I come get you?" He asked.
"You don't. I have cars here remember?" I said with a weak smile and walked inside. I shut the door behind me.
Eden knew about this penthouse I have. But I didn't frequent it much so I'm sure she didn't know where it was located probably didn't even remember it.
Eden. I felt so bad being here back home and not telling her I was here. What's worse I couldn't look at her. Her innocence and gullibility it was amazing at times annoying. She thought everyone was good but the truth is no one really is. We all have skeletons in our closets and I have more than anyone else she knows.
2 days later
A loud knock on the door woke me up. I was laying on the sofa in the living room.
Linda the housemaid for this house went to answer the door."Where the hell is he?" For a second I thought it was Eden and my heart stopped in place.
But then I recognized the voice with the Italian accent. I got up to greet her.
Olivianna was looking as glamorous as ever. She was wearing a red pencil skirt with a yellow blouse. A huge sparkly necklace adorned her neck and her blondish reddish hair hung down.
