This shouldn't be the time for Jimin to be pessimistic, but the more they walk down the descending ramp towards the jellyfish exhibit, the more he feels suspicious about the whole place.
The whole marine theme park is still working even after the outbreak, and not one undead was seen. Sure, there were blocks in the entrance door, but it's nearly impossible for the oceanarium to be empty after the epidemic started.
The uneasiness was bothering him, he felt a strong need to tell Yoonji about it. But as he turned back to look at her, she was already nowhere to be found.
"Yoonji?" He tried walking back to her spot, looking around in hopes of finding any signs of her. "Yoonji?" He calls out again, heading out of the ramps to check the halls before going back inside.
Where could she be?
Jimin starts to worry as he found no trace of her, and going into the jellyfish exhibit doesn't help at all. Everything in the room was dark but the translucid jellyfishes in cylinder glass tanks, changing colors along with the lights.
"Yoonji, I know you're stealthy but stop playing around." Jimin carefully walks down the dimmed exhibit, his gaze flits around the room until something on his feet made him almost stumble.
Jimin looks down, crouching to touch it. It was Yoonji's bag.
He takes it with him, carefully slinging it on one shoulder as he slowly steps around the exhibit.
Sure, anyone wouldn't be so worried about a girl that can control a horde with a tip of her finger and can blast multiple brains in a snap, but one thing that bothers Jimin the most is that —
What if they encounter a much more formidable force or a being? Something that Yoonji herself couldn't withstand? Or maybe something to anchor her down? Even Superman has kryptonite.
What if the zombies aren't really the ones they should be worried about?
Jimin shudders at the thought. He knows things won't stay as smooth as it has always been, he's just not ready for that yet.
Jimin might look like a naive rose-colored boy, but he has always been pessimistic. This trait, however, makes him prepare for what might happen.
Anxiety starts curling in his stomach as he tried to search around, afraid she might've been abducted. Or worse, she willingly left him behind. He hopes both are not the case, he's already feeling a little sting in his chest.
'Sway, sway, swaying between the waves
Sparkle, sparkle, sparkling, their voices drift into a distance'As a sweet, faint tune suddenly echoed around the place, Jimin's quickly glanced at the direction of the voice. He wasn't hearing things, he was certain it's Yoonji.
Nervous yet a little relieved, Jimin rushes towards the direction of the tune, mindfully passing through multiple purple lighted glass cylinders. He runs through the maze-like tanks and finally, he saw her.
The whole place was dimmed, but he was able to recognize her shadow from afar as it contradicts a tall viewing window of moon jellyfishes reflecting in pink. She was just facing the tank with her hands in her pockets, humming a song in a duller tune.
