Chapter-7

Next day Avni woke up due to a severe headache. She felt someone hugging her waist from behind. When she turned slowly to see the person she realised that it was Neil.
All the incidents of last night started playing in her mind. She started blushing unknowingly. Feeling someone beside him Neil woke up only to find Avni's face close to him. He remembered all the happenings of the previous night and started feeling guilty.

Neil: Avni I'm sorry about that kiss. I don't know how...I mean...

Avni: Neil it's okay, you didn't force me and moreover we both were drunk and were not in our senses.
She said this because she knew that it was not his fault.

Neil: So everything is okay right, I mean between us.

"Yes" Avni replied while smiling. "So friends" he asked while forwarding his hand. "Yeah friends"she said. They both shook their hands.
After dropping Avni to the hotel Neil went to his home only to find DD, the Hitler standing at the doorstep.

DD: NEIL SIR, WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU? We thought we'd lost you again. From now onwards I'm not letting you go alone.

Neil: Shut up DD, I was in the club. Now I'm very tired, I'm going to sleep.

On the other side Avni was thinking about her first kiss with Neil. I called him a guava but he is such a gentleman. I was drunk he could have taken advantage of me but he didn't. I feel so comfortable with him as if his arms are the safest place for me, whenever I am with him I don't get any nightmares. Do I like him?

Person: You have to make sure that Avni doesn't get to know anything about that incident.

Goon: Yes sir.

Person: Follow her wherever she goes and if by any chance she gets to know anything then shoot her.

Goon: Your work will be done sir!

Person: Did you find anything about that child?

Goon: Sir we are trying our best to find him.
You won't be disappointed.

The moon was shining enlightening the night with its moonlight falling on the surface of water making it a peaceful and serene view for Neil who was sitting there lost in his thoughts. He could hear frogs croaking and crickets chirping as if they too wanted to show their presence.

Life was like a roller coaster ride for him with many ups and downs. In his childhood he was alone he had no parents to tell him the difference between right and wrong, he became a drug addict and a theif.

After the bomb blast he knew that he was going to die because there was no one to look after him. But as they say,'God always takes care of his children'.
2 angels entered in his life. He was adopted by a couple, they treated him just like a prince. The love of parents which he was searching from his childhood, he had finally found it. But as they say,'Good times doesn't last long', after few years both Anna and John died in an accident.

He was completely shattered but Aayan his elder brother took care of him just like his own son. Neil had become independent in his life and was the CEO of a multi- billionaire company bus as they say,'Money can't get you everything', he was still searching for a family, his family. Aayan had already got married and Neil was very happy for him. He too wanted to complete his dream of a happy family but all the girls which he met were always behind his money or his looks. They never cared about his inner self but Avni was not like any other.
To be honest, when he met her for the first time his heart skipped a beat, maybe it wanted to convey that,'Yes, she's the one'.
The feeling was so strong to be just named as an infatuation.He knew that Avni was not just a crush but he was still confused about his feelings.
"Neil I think you like her"he heard a voice. Neil looked at his side only to find his Dad standing at some distance away. He couldn't believe what he saw, he knew he was hallucinating.
"But how do you know"he asked. "It's clearly seen in your eyes, you like her more than a friend. Keep your mind aside for sometime and let your heart lead the way.
As soon as he finished speaking, he disappeared in thin air.

From the incidents in his childhood he had come to believe that there is a world beyond science which consists of supernatural powers. He closed his eyes and pondered over his thoughts. He had finally made a decision,'Let the heart do the talking'.
