The Castle Of Secrets - Avneil 👑💞

Chapter-8

Avni was in the castle once again to see if she had left out something. She saw a room which had a hidden pathway. She opened the door and found a piano. It was an old one but still it could be played.
She went there and saw some notes scribbled on a paper.

She pressed the keys and was terrified because the tune was the same which she heard in her dreams.

Suddenly she heard a voice which she was hearing often these days.

"So Avni what are you doing here" Neil asked while walking into the room. "Wait! You look pale as if you have seen a ghost. What happened?(with worry)

"No it's nothing like that"she replied.
Here, DD was observing how Neil was getting worried for her.

"Neil BTW why are the dungeons closed?" she asked hoping to change the topic.

"Actually there are a lot of rumors about it so I thought to close it"he said.

"Neil could you please take me there" Avni asked while making a cute face to which Neil couldn't deny.

As soon as the gates were opened many bats came out from inside. DD was so frightened that he started running.

DD: Sir that ghost is pulling me inside,  I'm not able to run.
Neil had noticed that DD's clothes were stuck in the nail, he went there and took them out.

Avni and Neil were laughing like maniacs watching him running and out of nowhere DD jumped into the pond which was nearby.
Here Avni was laughing continuously while Neil was staring at her who was looking beautiful while laughing. This was the first time he was seeing her laughing wholeheartedly. He could do anything just to see that smile on her face everyday.
His trance was broken when he heard DD's voice.

DD: Sir that ghost pushed me in the pond.

Neil: DD now it's too much. Just shut up and get out of here.
He was mad at DD for breaking his moment.

After DD was gone Neil and Avni went into the dungeon. The place was very much similar to which she saw in her dreams.

She started to get some flashes of a man hitting a woman and blood oozing out on the floor like a pool of blood.

She was about to fall from a severe headache when Neil caught her in time and took her out of that place.

He made her drink some water and said, "Avni what happened all of a sudden?  Are you okay?"

"Yes, I am fine. Actually I'm scared of narrow places."
She lied to him because she herself wasn't sure what she had seen was true or not.

Neil: Avni you should have told me. How could you be so careless? What if something had happened?

"Don't worry Neil,  I'm fit and fine and moreover you're there with me right?"she said with hope in her eyes. She herself didn't know why she wanted him to say yes.

"Always"he said while holding her hands just to ensure that she was safe with him.
