Nejire's New OTP -- Miritama

Nejire and the group split up after making their plans for Friday and buying the tickets necessary.

Nejire had asked Yuyu and she agreed, the girl then continuing to gush about the adorable things that would be there, including Nejire. The comment made the lavender-haired girl blush.

All that was left was to find Tamaki and Mirio. She texted them and was told they were in Tamaki's dorm. Which made Nejire excited. They were hanging out!

But... they're also best friends...

Still! It's something!

Nejire began walking towards the dorms. She was fairly far, but she could get there in a reasonable amount of time.

"M-Mirio... we should probably stop.." Tamaki said, reluctantly pulling away from the cuddles the blonde was giving him.

"But... why..? No one's around." Mirio said, immediately missing the warmth of the indigo-haired male.

"I know but... Hado is coming... and you know what she's like..." Tamaki replied, him too missing the warmth.

"So? They should know that you're mine." Mirio said, hugging the male once again.

"But... we agreed to keep this secret. I-If the public finds out... then who knows what will happen..?" Tamaki sighed. Mirio looked at him.

"But our best friend can't know? It wouldn't hurt. But I won't do or say anything if you just aren't ready. I just still feel bad for lying this morning..."

"I... I guess I'm not r-ready... It's just.. a l-lot of pressure..." Tamaki said quietly. Mirio pulled away this time.

"I know. But we can tell them whenever you're comfortable. After all, I don't want my boyfriend to feel uncomfortable." Mirio said, ruffling Tamaki's hair.

"Th- Thanks Mirio... I-It really does mean a lot..."

"Hey! It's not a problem at all!" The two sat down on the couch, deciding to put on a movie until Nejire makes it.

"Hey! Amajiki? Togata? Open the door!" Nejire yelled rather than knocking. The two paused the movie, Tamaki rushing over to open the door.

"H-Hey Hado... so why'd you want to talk to us...?" Tamaki asked the girl, who merely grinned.

"Weeellll we got invited to that carnival! Some people from class 1-A invited us! I think they were friends with that Kirishima boy." Nejire began to explain.

"So, I invited Yuyu, and I'm also inviting you two if you're free! No pressure or anything, though." Nejire continued, hoping they agreed to this so their plan could be put into action.

"Oh... well I'm down! Don't think I have anything to do that day! What about you, Tamaki?

"I-I think I can make it... Yeah.. um, sure.. I'll go." Tamaki replied, putting a hand behind his neck.

"Great! We're meeting up in the front at 6! Don't be late~" Nejire chanted excitedly, handing the pair their tickets to the carnival.

"Now, excuse me but I need to go tell them that you guys are going! I'll see you later!" Nejire said, then she ran off.

"I... I have a feeling she wants to try to get us together..." Tamaki said quietly.

"But aren't we- Oh. Right. Yeah, she probably is. She must have put class 1-A up to this so they can help her." Mirio replied, sighing.

"Well... we can go back to movies now...?" Tamaki said sheepishly, not really knowing what else he could say.

"Only if I can cuddle you while watching them." Mirio replied in a lighthearted tone.

"Sure. Go ahead. Hado shouldn't be coming by for a while anyways.." Tamaki replied.

The two sat back down on the couch, cuddling together under the blankets and eating some (now cold) popcorn they had popped earlier.

While Nejire may not know the two are together, they did appreciate the thought. Hopefully nothing bad will happen...

But what could happen? Nothing, right? What could go wrong at a carnival of all the places where something bad could happen?

Seriously, what could possibly go wrong with going to a carnival with some friends?
