A/N: Let's play a game of "Spot the Reference"! Various characters in this chapter will be from some of my favorite series. Whoever can guess the most wins! Y'all have a week from after I post this chapter.
In order for it to count, you must say who the characters are and what series they are from. You can guess them at any point in time after they show up, but if you figure it out immediately, that's bonus points!
The winner gets a shout-out and to decide the next arc for the story, after the Carnival one! (Basically, they'd give me a base and some stuff they want to see, I'll take it, twist it into the storyline, and possibly add more to it for drama)
Happy hunting!

It hadn't taken much time for the class to enter the observatory, wonder filling their eyes as they looked around.
It was a rather large room, filled with various telescopes poking outside of it. There was a telescope, the onr of greatest power, in the middle. The ceiling was domed and was glass, and the floor was marble. Plants were scattered about as well.
A young couple, around their ages, were in the observatory as well. One male had navy blue hair, and the shorter had fluffy purple hair.
But this story isn't about them.
Mirio and Tamaki stood in front of the amazed class, Mirio smiling confidently while Tamaki was acting far more shy.
"Alright then, class 1-A! We'll be spending time here at the Moonside Observatory! You're dismissed to do whatever, but don't leave the observatory!" Mirio practically shouted. Everyone in the class responded with a nod, as they began to shuffle around the room in wonder.
Izuku had approached a telescope and tried to look through it, only to see blue.
"H-Huh? Is this one b-broken or something..?" Izuku said, mainly to himself, before he heard quiet laughter to his side.
"Nishishi~" He heard, from the purple haired boy. The taller sighed, shaking his head.
"Sorry. My boyfriend here wanted to play a prank. There's a piece of blue paper on the lens, just remove the lens and take off the paper." The navy-blue haired male said with a sigh.
"O-Oh! It's alright..." Deku said, laughing a bit.
"Awww... you love to ruin my fun, mister Detective!" The purple haired began to tease, before they heard a voice from outside the observatory.
"The astronaut idiot and I are leaving. If you don't want to die, I suggest you don't follow." They heard a female say. The purple haired stiffened, before laughing.
"Alrighty then..."
The couple soon wandered to the other side of the observatory, leaving a rather confused Izuku.
'Right, I need to remove the lens.... but how, exactly, do I do that?'
Izuku struggled for a minute to remove the lens, when he heard a calm voice from beside him.
"Do you need help, Midoriya?" Shoto had asked the green-haired male, to which Izuku jumped and nodded.
Shoto quietly took off the lens and removed the black paper, then put the lens back on. He began to walk away, but Izuku grabbed his arm.
"U-Um, could we... talk for a bit? Please?" Izuku asked, clearly nervous. Shoto softened a bit.
"Of course, Midoriya. What seems to be the issue?" He asked, rather calm. But it didn't show in his eyes. He seemed to also hold an emotion that was a mixture of apathy and fear.
