Taeyong's POV
After the call, I proceeded to Mark. Kai informed me that he's with Baekhyun when I got out of the meeting room. Baekhyun was hit by his only weakness. Darkness. So even though he surely is a skilled supreme, he can't help but lose when darkness comes.
I know that he tried searching for a quick treatment for it, I hope he found something to heal him, last time I saw him affected by darkness. He was weak for almost a month.
I realized that the door is unlocked, Mark Lee always forget to lock the doors, I'm starting to think that he got this from his friend, Zhong Chenle. Before I was going to knock, I felt myself staying still when I heard the two talking.
"Yes Mark, all supremes have weaknesses." Baekhyun speaks softly, I think he is recovering already.
"Why is that?" Mark asked.
"To remind us that we need each other." Baekhyun replied. "If you are strong to the point that nobody can defeat you, the higher the chance of leaving those who you leaned on during times of scars." He paused, "You know why?"
"Why?" Mark asked.
"There are two answers." Baekhyun says. "One, in the bad side, you might take it for granted."
Mark asks, "and the good side?"
"The good side, you might be too occupied of helping people that you will forget that you need care as well," a short pause. "The purpose of living is too live it with people you depend on and not being alone."
Knowing Mark, I think he will nod and ask another question. "What do you think is Taeyong hyung's weakness?"
Baekhyun giggles, "Why? You wanna end the one who raised you?"
"No." Mark replies defensively. "Just want to know, I was just curious."
"His weakness is losing you." Baekhyun says.
I paused for a while, deep in my thoughts, it was screaming yes. No one is aware of my weakness, it is obvious that Baekhyun is just joking but what he said was true.
Me and Mark are complementary. Without the past there is no future and without the future, past is non-existent. We bind together to keep the present safe and running smooth.
Baekhyun surely is an intellectual.
Mark laughs nervously. "What?"
Baekhyun chuckles. "Just a joke kid."
Being Mark's broher, I am sure that he expected it to be true. This kid is attached to me since he was born. I gave him to Wendy when we were thrown by the royals but he still stayed with me.
