Mark's POV

We entered an elevator to bring ourselves to Taemin's room. The walk was quiet but I really feel like a third wheel to the two.

"How is Jungwoo, Haesh?" Lucas starts a conversation with Haeshan. Not looking at her but just looking straight.

I felt the girl beside me flinch when she heard her name being mentioned, I think there is something between them.

Or maybe it's because that they are in the same cluster.

"He's getting better."  Haeshan plays with her slender fingers while looking down.

Lucas nodded, "Tell Kun hyung that I will visit you guys if I will have a vacant schedule."

Silence took place again so I grabbed the chance to speak. "Who is Jungwoo?" I asked.

Feeling that Lucas will keep quiet, Haeshan is the one who responded, "He is sick these days but don't worry, oppa is feeling better and is quickly recovering."

Lucas flashed a faint smile, "Mark, when we were kids, Jungwoo is one of our playmates. I hope that you will remember him. He is the kid that doesn't speak a lot and has really a soft and cute voice. You two were close." but that smile faded away when he spoke the next words. "It was really fun before, sadly commitments are needed to kept and if something will happen in the future, please understand that I am not sorry."

I did not understand what he said but I just nodded. I don't want to fire him another question because even if I try, I will never remember them.

And I wonder, another question formed from my curious mind.

Is Haeshan also our friend?

I kept on thinking as we go up the elevator. But my head is hurting, the images are starting again. I need to find a way to control these pictures so that I can use or discouraged it when I need to.

'Mark, we knew each other since we were kids. I knew everything about you, all those details, including the informations about you that you don't know. I'm sorry for lying but I must side with your opponent because I care for my loved ones.'

I read as I opened a white envelope with a light mint green color paper inside.

I felt my hands starting to get numb and my heart never felt so betrayed. My best friend knew it all all along but he never bothered to confess even a little spoon of his secrets.

The last person who I thought that would stay loyal until the end.

Is the one that left me.

"Hyung, what should we do?" A kid asks me from my back, he is the one that sent me the letter. "He left us am I right?" he asked.
