The words they said
Made her feel dead
Like she wanted to die
At first she would just cry and cry
But then she came to a decision
And with careful precision
She wrote a note
Put on her coat
And headed out the door
Knowing she couldn't take it anymore
She drove to a bridge and got out of the car
Her only obstacle was the safety bar
But that didn't stop her from jumping to her death
Could a kind word have stopped her from this mess?
Could I? Could you?
We know what we should do
But like the bar, we don't do a thing; we just stay still
This girl killed herself. If we don't move, who else will?
