Annalea's first birthday is next month, and me and Winn were trying to plan a birthday party for her.

"What does she even like?" Winn asked.
"Um, glitter. Castles. Princesses?" I said
"That's such a typical girls birthday party though." Winn said.
"Well. What do you suggest?" I asked.
"I dont know. Um, mermaids?" Winn suggested.
"Alright, let's do that then." I said.

I went on my laptop and started to order stuff for the party, decorations like streamers, and balloons.

"Should we hire someone to play a mermaid?" I asked.
"Sure. Why not." Winn said.

I smiled and nodded my head and started looking for it.

•time skip, the day of the party•

"Alright, all that's left to do is order the cake." I said to Kara.
"Already done." Kara told me.
"Oh, thanks Kara." I said smiling.
"Yeah, of course." Kara told me.

•1 hour befor the party•

"Okay, so Winn, you go pick up the cake and I'll finish setting up." I told him.
"Okay." Winn said grabbing his car keys and heading outside.

I got out of my chair and started hanging streamers while Kara and Alex helped blow up balloons.

•1 hour later•

All the guests had arrived, and the mermaid ended up cancelling.
I had made plenty of snacks, as well as ordering a pizza for the party.

"I cant believe shes a year old now." Caitlin said.

"I know. Shes growing up so fast, next thing you know shes gonna be in kindergarten." I said smiling.

"Yeah." Winn said hugging me from behind.
I smiled at Winn. "On that note, I think it's time for cake!" I said.

Kara nodded her head and her and Lena got the cake from the fridge.

"Happy Birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear Annalea, happy birthday to you." Everyone sang.

Annalea smiled and clapped her hands and then Winn cut the cake.

Ralph and Caitlin were sitting on the couch talking.
"You guys want some cake?" I asked.
"Yes please." Caitlin said. Ralph smiled and nodded his head.
"I would." Cisco said.
I nodded my head and passed out pieces of cake to everyone.

A while later we had all finished our cake and we were hanging out talking.
"Alright, we gotta head home now. See you tomorrow." Kara said.

"Alright, bye." I said giving Kara and Lena each a hug.

After everyone was gone, me and Winn cleaned up the party.
"Well, I'm super tired." I said.
"You go to bed, I'll finish up and be in bed in a bit, okay?" Winn told me.
"Alright, night babe." I said.
"Night." Winn said pulling a streamer off the wall.

I half smiled, heading to our room, then changed into my pajamas and got ready for bed.

After a little while, I was asleep, and Winn came in, and changed into his sweats and layed down beside me.

I snuggled into him and he smiled, falling asleep.
