Daan POV
I listen to the heartbeat from the baby. The fact that this is our little baby makes me so happy and I can't wait. I open my eyes and look at Beth, she sleeps. She was the whole week tired and the only thing she could do was sleeping, laying, watching a movie or something like that. I smile at her cute face. I till my head up and give her a kiss on her forehead. I realize that I'm kinda tired too and my eyes almost close. I stand up from my chair and take off my shoes. I lift the blanket and lay down next to Beth. I pull the blanket over me and lay my head down on Beth's shoulder and close my eyes.
Beth POV
One week past and I feel very bad. I have very bad cramps so I will probably give birth today or tomorrow. Daan lays next to me, holding my hand. ''I feel so sorry for you hun. But it is it worth!'' says Daan. I love it to hear her voice, by hearing her voice the pain calms a bit down. ''Yes it is.'' I smile at her and she smiles back. Suddenly I feel a very hard stab. ''AH FUCK!'' Daan looks at me with a sad face. ''Stay strong Beff, you can do this honey.'' says Daan. Suddenly I feel something wet on my inner thighs. Fuck, my membranes are broken. ''Daan, my membranes are broken. Please get a doctor!'' I try to say it fast before I feel another stab. ''Oké, stay calm. I will get a doctor.'' says Daan. She lets go of my hand and walks away. I close my eyes, I really can't handle this pain anymore.
3 minutes later Daan comes back with a doctor. Daan sits down next to me and grabs my hand. ''Oké, we are going to start the birth.'' says the doctor. She walks to me and pulls the blanket of me. I pull off my panties. ''Can you spread your legs?'' asks the doctor. I spread my legs. ''There is enough access for the baby so you can start pressing.'' says the woman while smiling at me. Daan sqeeuzes my hand and smiles at me. She looks happy and worried at the same time. I give her a smile to let her see that I'm oké. Actually I'm totally not oké, but I don't want Daan to be worried. I start pressing and it hurts very much. I don't scream and just close my eyes. This is gonna be a long day...
We're three hours later now and it still isn't over. It's almost over, but not yet. ''Press for a last time honey, you can do this!'' says Daan. She holds my hand tightly and looks me in the eyes. I look in her eyes and start pressing again. It hurts like fuck but I want to finish this, I want to hold our little baby. Suddenly I hear screeching. I did it, our little baby. Here, she is here. ''Yes! It's done!'' says the doctor. She lifts my little baby up and gives her to me. I start crying and Daan too. I hold her tightly. ''Beff, I'm so happy. I really don't know what to say...'' says Daan. I look at her and smile at her while crying. ''I'm so so happy too Daan. I love you my darling.'' ''I love you too.'' says she. ''congratulations! She is beautiful! Already thought about her name?'' asks the doctor. ''Thanks, she is. Yes, we thought about that.'' I look at Daan and smile at her. ''Her name is Faith.'' says Daan while smiling at Faith. ''That's a really beautiful name!'' says the doctor. I smile at her. ''But, I will give you some time alone now. Have fun!'' says the doctor, she walks away. Daan lays her hand down on Faith's head and strokes it softly. ''She haves your hair.'' says Daan with a big smile on her face. I smile back. ''I hope she will have those gorgeous blue eyes from you too.'' says Daan. I chuckle at her comment. ''I hope she will have those gorgeous brown eyes from her father. They looks like yours, the only different is that yours are even prettier.'' I smirk at her. She starts blushing. ''Shut up.'' says she while laughing.
''Do you want to hold her?'' I say Daan's eyes starting sparkling. ''If you don't mind.'' says Daan. ''Of course I don't mind you stupid.'' I laugh at her. She reaches her arms to our little baby and lifts her. She pulls her against her chest and holds her tightly. ''She's so pretty.'' says Daan. ''She is.'' ''Well done Beffie.'' says Daan while grinning at me. I laugh at her. ''It wasn't easy but it was it definitely worth.''
The time flew over and it's already 9 PM. Daan called Viv and Lisa 20 minutes ago so they can arrive any moment now. Faith sleeps, in my arms. I look at her cute face, I can stare hours at it. Daan stares too at her. Suddenly I hear the door open. It are Viv and Lisa. They look at Faith and it looks like they almost start crying. ''Oh my god guys, she's beautiful!'' says Viv. ''Thanks.'' says Daan. Viv and Lisa grab a chair and put them down next to my bed. ''Viv, I want a child too.'' says Lisa to Viv. Viv starts chuckling at her girlfriend. ''Well, if you're the one who will live with that child in your stomach am I okay with that.'' says Viv while laughing .''Then I will think about it.'' says Lisa while smirking at Viv. ''But attention back to this cutie now.'' says Viv while smiling at Faith. ''Do you want to hold her?'' ''Please yes!'' says Viv with a big smile. I lift Faith and give her to Viv. ''Look at this little cutie.'' says Viv. Lisa looks too at Faith with a big smile on her face. ''When can she go home with you?'' asks Viv. ''Tomorrow.'' I smile at her. ''I can't wait!'' says Daan. ''I think we all can't wait.'' says Lisa. I smile at her. ''I definitely can't!''
