Beth POV
We drive back home and Faith looks a little bit sad. I look at her in the mirror of my car. ''What is it honey?'' She looks up and starts fiddling her hands. ''I just wished that mom could spend more time with us.'' says she. I feel a flood of sadness attacking my heart by her words. I'm quiet for 15 seconds and Faith looks back at her hands. ''I know honey, and I understand that. But soccer is very important for your mom, I hope that you understand that too?'' ''Yeah, I understand that...'' says she, still looking sad. ''Oh honey, it hurts me so much to see you being sad. I wished too that your mom could spend more time with us. But it just can't, sport life is hard... But you have to know that your mom loves you so much Faith!'' ''I love her too, and you.'' says she while smiling at me. I feel my heart skipping a beat and I'm so happy to see her smile again. ''I'm glad to see you smile again!'' She smiles even more and I get my focus back at the road.
After 20 minutes we arrive home. We get out of the car and I open the door. ''Mom, what are we going to do today?'' asks she. ''Uhm, I haven't thought about that... Do you have some nice ideas?'' ''Not really...'' says she. She sits down at the couch and I walk to the kitchen. ''Want something from the kitchen?'' ''No, thanks.'' says she. ''Maybe we can go to the pool?'' ''Yes yes yes!'' screams she. I smile at her. ''Well, let's pack in our stuff then!'' She jumps off the couch and runs upstairs, I follow her and smile at her. I help her with packing in her stuff and I pack in my stuff too.
After 10 minutes we're ready. We go outside and get in the car. I drive to the pool and we arrive after like 15 minutes. Faith gets immediately out of the car. I get out of the car too. I grab her hand and we walk together to the entrance. I pay the tickets and walk inside after that. We change into our bikini's. Faith looks so happy and that makes me smile the whole time. ''Excited?'' ''Yes! I love it to go to the pool!'' says she. I smile at her and grab her hand. We go swim in the pool outside since it is 38 grees. I lay my towel down at the grass and think back at the moment that I met Daan here, 7 years ago. ''Did you know that your mom and I met each other at this pool?'' Faith looks very confused at me. ''Huh? How?'' asks she. ''Well, that's a funny story. Your mom bumped into me and we fell down on the ground. Then she started yelling at me but she realized that it was her own fault. I got hurt and she got some wipes for me. When she came back with the wipes, we had a conversation and then she had to go. I left the pool too and drove to my new home since that was my first day at Arsenal. When I arrived at the apartment, opened your mom the door. And since the moment that I met her at the pool, I was totally in love with her.'' ''Wow, you never told me that.'' says she. ''I know, but now you know! Come, let's take a dip in the pool!'' ''Yes!'' says she.
The time at the pool flew over and it was really fun. We walk back to the car now and Faith tells me some of her cute stories. We drive back to the training center to pick up Daan. When we arrive, Daan already waits for us. I park the car and Faith gets out of the car. She runs to Daan and jumps on top of her. ''Mamaaa!'' (''Mommieeee!'') screams she. ''Hey sweetie!'' says Daan. I smile at Daan and she smiles back. ''Was it fun today?'' asks Daan to Faith. ''Yes, it really was! We went to the pool and mom told me about you bumping into her and that was really funny.'' says Faith. Daan starts laughing at her comment and I start to laugh too. ''Yeah, our first meeting wasn't the best!'' says Daan while laughing. ''Come, we go home!'' Faith and Daan nod and we get in the car.
We arrive after 30 minutes and get out of the car. I open the door and walk inside. ''I'm so excited for tomorrow!'' says Faith. I smile at her. ''I'm glad to hear that!'' ''Yes me too!'' says Daan. I smile at Daan and give her a quick kiss. Faith runs to the couch and grabs the remote. ''Can we watch the bubble guppies, please?!'' asks she with her puppy dog eyes. I chuckle at her. ''Yeah, that's oké.'' ''Yesss!'' says she.
Faith POV
The rest of the day flew over and it's time to go to bed now. I go upstairs and my moms follow me. They help me with making myself ready for bed and wishes me a good night, as they always do. I wish them a good night to and try to sleep. I'm so excited for tomorrow! I hope that I will make a lot of new friends! I try to sleep but it doesn't work, I'm just too excited.
After 15 minutes I'm still awake. I get out of my bed and walk downstairs. I open the hallway door and walk to the couch where my moms are. ''Mom, I can't sleep.'' They both lookup. ''Why not?'' asks Beth. ''I don't know...'' Daan stands up and walks to me. She lifts me up. ''See you tomorrow honey.'' says Daan to Beth. She walks upstairs and lays me down in bed. She lays down next to me and pulls the blankets over me. I feel her arms around me and she holds me thightly. ''Goodnight princess.'' says she. ''Good night mommie.'' I close my eyes and drift off to sleep immediately.
