(That picture is Tom Trench in his human years UwU)
You hated Alastor. You knew you did.
So why did you want to be friends with him?
Well, you didn't want to be friends, but you felt it was right.
You had had a performance last night, and you had slept in until about 1:30 in the afternoon. You had just woken up and gotten ready for the day.
You enter the lobby, only to see Alastor had lost his temper and was strangling Angel Dust.
Normally, you'd let Angel suffer, but you knew Alastor would kill him. You wished and wished you could stop him, but you didn't seem to know how. You wished Angel could just teleport away.
And just like that, without even meaning to, you raised your arm and snapped your fingers, and he disappeared into static.
Alastor looked to you. There was a short pause. "Was this your doing?" He asked crouching slightly, yet still towering over you.
"I... I think so.." You murmured.
He straightened up. "Well, I'll be darned! You're getting stronger!"
"What..?"
"Your powers! They're growing!" He exclaimed. "It seems like your power revolves around the idea of modern-day technology. The static, I mean. And I noticed when you got calls sometimes you would answer and before they could speak, you would say, 'Wrong number. Try 2323 instead.' It's like you're a walking electronic encyclopedia, with all phone numbers memorized and knowing people's intentions over the phone before talking to them... It's extraordinary!"
You realized he was right. You've been able to do it since you arrived in Hell, but it has been happening more and more often.
But you had never been able to teleport people.
"Oh, I see."
"Plus, I noticed for Wonderland, your first performance, you could glitch and warp your voice with ease, and you were given more vocals than the leader herself!" Alastor was growing surprisingly excited.
It was kinda weird.
He put his arm around your shoulder for a side hug and deepened his voice, not to sound more attractive, but so it would be less audible.
"You and me, Kid, we'll go places."
"What?" Your confusion was very evidently spread across your features.
"We should work together! Take over Hell! Together we could overpower every demon put together!"
You were evil, but you never thought you would be that evil. But then again... The idea sounded pretty good... Well, bad. But in a good way.
"I'll think about it," you muttered.
"That's the spirit!" He hugged your shoulders tighter and your eyes widened because it was spine-crushing. Well, almost.
Soon, you were back in your room, rubbing your now bruised shoulders. Damn, he's strong.
You still had to decide what to do. Would you go with Alastor? You could become unstoppable with his training. And if we became a thing, we would be inseparable.
You mentally smacked yourself. No! You didn't even like him like that!
... Right..?
Of course. You could never like him like that. Not when he is so... So...
"I've got nothing," you realized aloud with a pang of guilt and frustration.
You sighed again. You reminded yourself that you still had a decision to make.
You stood up and walked to your desk. You opened the drawer and chose a mechanical pencil and a blue notebook.
You returned to your seat on your bed. You made a T-Chart, one side labeled "Pros" and the other "Cons". You started on the pros side of things, then moved to the cons side.
You sighed. You might want to sleep on it.
You woke up the next morning, and still had the urge to join the deer demon.
You sighed, and, after getting ready for the day, you set out to find Al.
You spotted him in the lobby, pestering Vaggie. You smiled to yourself. Stop it, (Y/N). You dropped your smile and walked up to Alastor.
You politely waited for Alastor to finish pissing Vaggie off. Vaggie looked at you then back to Al. She pointed at you, her full arm extended, her finger almost touching your nose.
"I THINK YOUR GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!" Vaggie screamed at him.
He turned only his head towards you. It was sort of creepy. Then he turned the rest of his body to fully face you.
He had a thoughtful look on his face. He began muttering to himself. You only caught a few words, including "girlfriend" and "someday".
If he had said what you thought he had said, he was at some point gonna make you his and his only.
You didn't like that.
At least, that's what you told yourself.
"So, have you made a decision, my darling?"
"I'll take your offer."
"Perfect! No take backs!"
What have I gotten myself into?
"Don't worry. We'll have fun."
Something about the way he said 'fun' sounded scary.
You wondered when you'll find out what he meant.
It's only a matter of time before you do.
