Mark's voice dripped with disdain as he confronted Ryan, 'I wasn't expecting to see you here, Mr. Ryan.'

Nichole's eyes narrowed as she tried to make sense of the situation, her voice laced with concern and anger, 'Ryan? What the hell did you do to my friend this time? If anything happens to Kylie, I swear I'm holding you accountable, and nobody else.'

Ryan's frustration grew, his voice tinged with irritation, 'And who are you?' he snapped at Nichole. 'I'm Nichole, the one person who didn't treat her like garbage when you left her broken. You are a bad news right, my eyes are on you. The last person my friend wants to see is you, so I advise you to leave right now!'

The tension in the room escalated as Ryan fired back, 'And do you honestly think she wants to see you either? Enough with this nonsense. Let's put our differences aside and focus on praying for her instead.'

"Wait, what am I missing here?" Mark asked, his confusion evident in his voice. Both Nichole and Ryan seemed to ignore his question, continuing their heated exchange.

"You think you're doing her a damn favor for being here? Hah, jokes on you," Nichole retorted, her tone laced with sarcasm. "I finally understand what Kylie was saying all along. You truly are a motherfucker."

Mark's disbelief grew as he turned to Nichole. "Wait, you know him too?"

Nichole's bitterness was palpable as she replied, "Oh, sorry for leaving you out of this convo. This monster right here is none other than Kylie's ex-husband, the one who treated her like a pissed off piece of shit."

Mark couldn't wrap his head around the revelation. "You're her ex-husband? Mark who was confused at the whole drama happening around him. Is that the reason Kylie left the event the other day? Why didn't she tell me?" he thought

Ryan's frustration was evident as he snapped back, "That's none of your business, man. Can't you see the condition she's in right now? Let's stop bringing up her past for now."

The room fell into an uneasy silence, the weight of the situation hanging in the air.

"H-Harry," Kylie stuttered, capturing the attention of Ryan, Mark, and Nichole. All eyes turned towards her as she stood there, head down, waiting for a response.

"Yes, Kylie? Are you okay? Do you need some water? Can you drink water right after waking up? Should I call the nurses? Do you need a nurse?" Ryan anxiously rambled on.

Kylie remained silent, not acknowledging his questions.

"M-may I speak to Harry?" she asked softly, her gaze fixed on Nichole.

"Yes, princess. What is it?" Ryan replied, unaware of the significance behind her request.

But Kylie didn't even register his tone, her focus solely on the one thing she had fought so hard for.

"W-Where's my baby? I want to hold him," Kylie uttered weakly.

Ryan looked at Nichole, confused by her words. He had no idea what she meant.

"Darling, why don't you go back to sleep? You need to rest," Nichole interjected, attempting to divert her friend's attention.

"But I want to see him. I-Is that too much to ask?" Kylie pleaded, her voice barely audible.

"What is she talking about?" Ryan asked Nichole, his confusion growing.

"Don't ask silly questions now. Besides, it's not your damn business," Nichole snapped back, clearly protective of Kylie.

Ryan, feeling the tension in the room, just wanted to find some peace. As he turned to leave, Mark stopped him, asking, "Where's Harry?"

"Who the f*** is Harry? And how would I know where he is?" Ryan responded, his frustration evident.

"Aren't you with her the whole damn time?" Mark questioned, suspicion in his voice.

Ryan struggled to control his anger, but the two of them were pushing his patience to the limit. He pointed a finger at Mark and said, "Look, stay out of this. This is between me and my wife."

"You mean to say ex-wife?" Mark retorted, staring deeply into Ryan's eyes.

Ryan, trying to maintain his composure, approached Mark, giving him a warning. "I'm sorry, but we need some privacy. We're here to check on the patient." The nurse interrupted

I don't want to make a scene here, so you better behave," Nichole pointed her finger at Ryan's face.

"What makes you think I'm with Harry?" Ryan laughed in disbelief.

"It's not about thinking, Ryan... I know for a fact that you took Harry along with you."

"Look, I'm not in the right place to argue with you... Kylie's health is more important to me than anything else, okay?"

"Really? Can you just stop pretending like you give a damn about her!" Nichole exclaimed.

"Can you stop being so dramatic, please?" Ryan shouted.

"Why would I? Tell me, huh? Why the hell would I stop being dramatic? You don't even seem to care that Harry is gone."

"Why on earth would I worry about someone I don't even know anything about?" Ryan asked, irritated.

"The fact that Harry is your son should be enough reason for you to be worried about him, you dumbass!" Nichole shouted.

"H-Harry? He is my son?" Ryan asked, stammering.

"Wait! She d-didn't tell you that?"

"If she did, why would I be asking you that... please, what are you talking about?"

Nichole knew she messed up the moment she revealed the truth to him. If Kylie could hide such a thing from him, then it wasn't right for Nichole to spill it out. She just snitched on her best friend.

Nichole's POV:

As I watched Ryan stammer, it became clear that he had no idea Harry was his son. Panic surged through me. How could Kylie keep such a secret from him? I couldn't hold it in any longer, so I blurted out the truth. In that moment, I knew I had betrayed my best friend.
