Ryan's POV:

"H-Harry? He is my son?" I asked, my voice trembling. The shock and confusion washed over me in waves. How could I have been so oblivious to such an important truth?

"Wait! She d-didn't tell you that?" I stammered, desperately seeking answers.

"If she did, why would I be asking you that... please, what are you talking about?" Nichole's response only deepened my bewilderment.

My mind raced as I tried to make sense of it all. How could Kylie keep something so significant from me? And why did Nichole feel the need to reveal it now? The mix of emotions swirling inside me made it difficult to process everything at once. I felt a sense of betrayal and anger, but also a glimmer of hope and a desire to connect with my son.

Ryan's heart raced as he discovered he had a son named Harry. Without wasting a moment, he bolted from the hospital, determined to find his child, wherever he may be. He visited numerous stations, desperately reporting the case, hoping for any information.

But despite his tireless efforts, there was no trace of his son. Exhausted and heartbroken, Ryan felt a deep sense of sadness. He was devastated by the fact that he had been unaware of his own child, and hurt by the realization that Kylie had kept this secret from him for a whole year. He couldn't understand why she would stoop so low. Regardless of their past, he would have given their child and Kylie a better life, showing her that he had truly changed. He wanted her to know that he deeply regretted the pain he had caused and would have used this opportunity to prove himself.

Ryan sat on the floor, consumed by pain and guilt. For the past three hours, he had been lost in his thoughts, tears streaming down his face. Passersby glanced at him, some even taking pictures as if he were a spectacle. His phone rang incessantly, but he lacked the strength to answer or even retrieve it from his pocket.

Suddenly, a black Range Rover pulled up, and Ryan wondered who would park so close to him. To his surprise, it was his best friend, Liam.

"What the hell, man? I've been calling you for the past hour, and you didn't answer or call back. Look at the weather, it's about to rain any minute. Let's go home," Liam exclaimed, concerned.

"Just go home, Liam. I'm not going anywhere. I need to feel this rain, maybe it'll make me feel better," Ryan replied, his voice filled with anguish.

Liam's eyes widened as he noticed the tears streaming down Ryan's face. He couldn't bear to see his friend in such a state. Whatever Ryan was going through, Liam believed he didn't deserve it.

For the past 9 months, his best friend had been in a rough state. He barely ate or slept, consumed by guilt over his actions towards his ex-wife. Ryan couldn't shake the feeling that it was karma for how he treated Kylie, but he knew it was time for everything to stop. It had gone on long enough.

"Ryan, listen to me. It's already raining. You need to get up. Sitting on the floor and looking so miserable isn't good for your image, you know that. Someone might recognize you. Come on, man," his best friend pleaded, showing his stubborn side. But deep down, he knew he had to be there for Ryan, no matter what. He may not understand what Ryan was going through, but he knew it wasn't easy.

"Let's go home and discuss what's going on. I promise we'll sort it out. Get up, Ryan." Finally, after many attempts, Ryan gathered the strength to get up and enter the car.

                                    *************

Kylie drifted off to sleep after receiving the injection, her body finally finding some rest. Meanwhile, Mark took it upon himself to go and get food for both Kylie and Nichole, wanting to make sure they were taken care of.

As they sat in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting any news, they still hadn't heard anything from the police about Harry's whereabouts. The uncertainty weighed heavily on their hearts, leaving them feeling helpless and worried.

Nichole, in particular, was filled with apprehension. She didn't know how she would respond when Kylie woke up and asked about her son. The thought of having to deliver heartbreaking news was overwhelming, and she wished for a different outcome.
