Just for the fun of it ∆

"After you pass this year, both of you, we're going to move to New York City. No complaints." Says my cousin, Nieri, I paused in the middle of my and Cherry's dance, shocked, surprised, frustrated and anger. Twice. Twice that I could not stay and be with the person I care for.
I took a deep breath and smiled nodding my head, she whirled around and walked away. Cherry seemed crest fallen, unhappy and most of all frustrated. She had made a lot of friends during the last few years and all of them were good ones. I sigh, Bella and I have made no other friends because we usually made pranks against everyone. And since she found out about my magic, she's been staying away from people a lot more. It's been four years since we got here. And all of these years we've grown closer I tried to get her to dance, but.... she miserably failed making us laugh our butts off because we knew she wouldn't be able to do it because of her feet. I had gotten into
a lot of trouble because of that. I sighed and placed my hands on Cherry's shoulders, smiling a sad but understanding smile.
"Chi, I'm sorry about this, but it seems like we'll keep on moving on, but the more friends you make the more memories you have, take this as a way to get to know the world, so don't be sad, please?" I begged, brushing a strand of her caramel hair out of her eyes that were brimming with tears.
"Okay." She says and walked away. I gave a sigh, there was only a week left in any ways. This is going to sadden Bella a lot. Shrugging my shoulders I knew that we'll see each other again, even if it's in five years. Depressed I went to bed earlier than usual knowing the day will be long.
Bella didn't take the news well the next day, and refused to speak to me, I hadn't told her when because she had stormed off and I don't have her number, so here I sit in the plane heading to New York feeling lost and unhappy. We arrived a few hours later and I sat in my room sighing. It was about damn time that I learned basic spells.

Spirits?

Yes?

What do I have to do to create a spell of my own, since I am unable to use olden spells because I don't have the books for it, mind helping please?

Of course we'll help, you are the strongest magician that we have ever known, you can both see all of us and communicate with us, we will gladly help.

Thank you.

Use patterns to create complex spells, and another language to activate the spell, but the more you practice then you'll be able to cast silent spells without the use of patterns.

I smiled brightly as I took my shetch pad out and began to work on complex patterns for each spell, the spirits instructed me and adviced me as I worked. I needed understanding, imagination and emotion to make a spell alive, at first the creation of the spells took days once even months. We moved again, classes kept on going on in my free time I would draw and do research and study on various subjects to get deeper understanding of things, sometimes it the spirits could help and more often than not I had to rely on old books about legends to create decent understanding of things.
