33. t o u r

when i touched down in new york, it was 2:30 pm eastern time. the concert starts at 7 tonight, but Sophie is picking me up at 5:30 so we can go over everything and so i can sign papers and things like that.

when i arrive at the hotel, i take a nap and wake up a little later then i wanted.

i have an hour to get ready which is a lot of time for me, but i started to get super nervous, so i call bella.

"hey! how's new york??" she asks when i she finally answers.

"fuck bella i'm so nervous." i say whining.

"peyton you'll be fine trust me."

"what if i fuck up? what if they don't like me? if i don't get this job what the fuck am i supposed to do with my life?"

"peyton, worrying is the last thing you should be doing. your should be excited and happy and positive because your getting to do your dream job. you got your shot and now it's your time to show everyone the skills you've got."

after bella's quick pep talk, i put on a pair of black ripped jeans and a sparkly black tank top. i throw on some black vans and brush out my hair.

i get a text from sophie saying she's in the lobby so i grab my camera and head out the door.

i'm in the lobby when i spot Sophie waiting by the door. i knew what she looked like after we traded instagrams during our phone call yesterday.

she's about the same height as me with blonde hair and blue eyes. she her skinny jeans and cropped sweater show off her perfect body, head to toe.

when i walk over she greets me with a tight hug.

"hi!" i say.

"oh my gosh hi!! i'm so excited that your coming tonight ahh!!" she relies and leads me to the black suv parked outside waiting for us.

in the car she goes over the show again making sure i remember everything she told me.

"so you'll be get full access to the space between GA and the stage as well as the places behind the crowd. we also would like you to get some pictures before the show, like behind the curtains and stuff like that. and here is your pass to get access to these places." she says handing me it. "i'm so excited to finally have a girl on the team, well if you want the job after tonight, which i'm hoping you will!!"

the drive was about 30 minutes and we basically just talked about ourselves and got to know eachother better.

when we arrived, we entered through a back entrance and right when we walked through the doors, i heard a familiar song being played.

she leads me through a bunch of doors till we finally enter a big room where ross and rocky are practicing with their band.

this. is. CRAZY.

"hey guys, this is Peyton, your photographer for tonight!!" she says smiling.

"hey! i'm rocky!" he says giving me a hug.

"i'm ross." he says giving me a hug as well.

"nice to meet you guys." i say timidly

"i'm so excited to see the pictures your gonna get tonight. your work is sick." ross say making me laugh.

"aw thank you." i reply.

we all get into a conversation and start i get to know everyone. everyone includes ross, rocky, sophie, the band.

they eventually get back to practicing and sophie has me sign some paperwork that needs to be done before the show.

i hear the crowd screaming behind the curtains. ross and rocky are about to go on stage and i'm about to head out and take some pictures. i'm nervous because i really don't want to fuck this up.

i head out, down the stairs to the floor. i walk past the security guards to the middle of the floor right in front of the stage. i face the crowd getting a few pictures of the fans and some signs they had brought.

the crowd starts to get louder which indicates that the boys are walking onto the stage. i snap a few pictures of them walking out.

i get a few more while there singing then decide to get some upper angle shots behind the crowd....

the show just ended and i'm currently backstage sitting at a desk importing the photos to my lap top. the whole experience was so fun and i really hope that i can get this job.

"hey girl!" sophie says walking in the room greeting me and the rest of the band whose packing up their equipment.

"hey." i say starting at my computer.

"so if you want, we can take a look at the pictures now so we can give you an answer on the job tonight. and before you ask, i know you haven't edited anything yet, the boys just want to see what they look like.

i would usually be nervous, but if actually pretty proud of myself because the pictures turned out pretty good.

i hand her the computer and watch as ross and rocky look over them.

"i think there great!" rocky says smiling.

"i have to agree, these are pretty sick." ross says "if you want the job, your hired and would be coming on the rest of our world tour with us." ross says starring at me.

"oh my god YES!!" i say a little too excited.

"yay! i have the paperwork for you and we can make it official right now" sophie says pulling some papers out of her bag...
