In the days leading up to the road trip, there had been a lot of excited chatter and planning, mainly Jimin who wanted to visit every single attraction there was.

"We can't go everywhere, Jimin," Namjoon explained, pointing to maps on his desk. "Two of the ones you want to go to are two hours away from where everything mainly is."

"So?"

"Then we would have to spend extra time just to get there. It'll be more efficient if we were to go to attractions in the same general area."

Jimin looked a tad bit unhappy at this, but Yoongi reminded him that there were loads of fun places where they're going, so he won't even miss the other places.

"Plus," he added, "we have the whole group with us, so you're gonna have a blast!"

Jimin had wriggled excitedly in reply.

Now the week was over, and they were getting ready and waiting for the rest of the group to come.

"When are they commiiing," Jimin moaned, lying limply one the sofa. Since this was his first trip, Jimin was hardly able to sleep a wink last night, which meant sleepless night for all three of them.

"You asked that 5 minutes ago," Yoongi deadpanned, eyebags clear and dark under his eyes. Jimin whined and flopped around, obviously so excited he couldn't keep still.

"What time is it?"

"It's 8:30."

"The exact time!" Yoongi smiled at the youngest antics, reaching over to ruffle Jimin's hair.

"Relax and don't think about it." Jimin dutifully nodded and closed his eyes. He managed to keep them closed for about twenty seconds, before his eyes flew open again.

"It's not working!" He whined and Yoongi sighed. He stood up, holding out a hand for Jimin to take.

"Come on." He prompted, and Jimin took his hand, standing up. "Let's go have a walk outside, burn some energy off, yeah?"

Outside, Namjoon was on his phone, seemingly texting their friends about their whereabouts. Their luggages lay beside him on the grass.

"Are they coming?" Yoongi asked, leaning over to looks at Namjoons screen. He was on their group chat, the birth place of whatever chaos usually brought by Taehyung, Jungkook and Hoseok.

"They said they'd by here in five minutes. Jin is also on his way but he said he had to pick up some things." Yoongi nodded in understanding and turned to Jimin. "You hear that? They're coming soon, so don't worry you're pretty little head."

Yoongi meant it as a joke, so he was surprised to see Jimin flush, looking down at his feet bashfully.

"You think I'm pretty?" Jimin whispered shyly, fidgeting one his feet. Yoongi just about had a heart attack from how cute Jimin looked doing so.

"Yeah," Yoongi answered gruffly, red tinting his cheeks. "Prettiest."

Namjoon made a gagging noise. "Tone it down a bit, will ya? I can already see them."

Sure enough, a black van was speeding down the path leading to Yoongi's home, rumbling loudly in its wake.

"Damn," Yoongi whistled. "Jin's still driving that rickety old thing?" Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, but don't let him hear you say that."

The van pulled up to the open gates, and Jin hopped out from the front seat. "Come on!" He called, gesturing to their luggages. "Put them in the back and let's go!"

Namjoon pulled open the door and went to sit next to Jin on the other front passenger seat, while Yoongi and Jimin pulled open the door to find the other three.

"Jiminie!" Taehyung screeched, and he reached forward to yank Jimin into the car, a startled yelp leaving Jimin's throat.

"Careful!" Yoongi scolded, but was met with a tongue. "Shut up gramps, Jimin ain't as fragile as you." Yoongi growled darkly before stepping into the van as well.

The two youngest were in the second row, with Hoseok in the third and the last vacant.

Yoongi pulled Jimin out of Taehyungs grip and pushed him towards the last row.

"There, now he's away from you." Yoongi huffed, and Taehyung pouted at him. "You're so mean!" He turned to Jimin. "Tell him he's mean!"

Jimin only smiled and shook his head. "Yoongi isn't mean, he's nice to me."

Taehyung's mouth dropped open.

"What?" He gasped, "Yoongi? Nice?" Jimin nodded hesitantly, and Yoongi groaned internally. Taehyung was going to go crazy.

"No way!" Taehyung yelled, and he threw himself over the seat to look at Jimin square in the eye. "You're not joking?" Jimin looks taken aback at the question. "No...?" Taehyung huffed and fell back into his seat dramatically.

"It's not fair!" He whined. "Yoongi's like, never nice on purpose!"

"Yah," Jin says from the front, glancing at rear view mirror. "Quiet down."

"Sorry Jin," Taehyung apologized. Jungkook now has an arm slung across Taehyung's shoulders to keep him down.

Taehyung gets a bit too excited sometimes.

Groaning, Yoongi leaned back and closed his eyes. "Don't interrupt me, I'm going to sleep." Jimin flashed him a smile. "Don't worry Yoonie, I'll make sure we're quiet."

"Yoonie, that's so cute." Hoseok smirked, and yelped when Jimin smacked him slightly. "Shhh, Yoongi's gonna sleep."

Last thing Yoongi sees before his eyes drop shut is Jimin putting a jacket over his body.
