Hunter listened to his fathers yelling with a bored expression. He couldn't help it, he didn't feel like crying, yelling back or even running off to hide from his fathers anger.
He just felt numb.
Hunter waited until his father got tired, walking off while grumbling and Hunter rolled his eyes. Heading back to his room and grabbing his jacket before snapping his fingers, appearing on earth in one of his favorite cities. New York.
He straightened his jacket and started to walk through the streets which were much calmer than the ones down in hell...and more colorful. Neon signs flashed at him displaying bars, gentlemen's clubs, stores and more.
Hunter closed his eyes and took a deep breath which didn't smell like burning flesh. His eyes snapping open when he heard fighting down in an alley.
Peeking down, Hunter raised an eyebrow and leaned against the wall to the alley, watching as a blond fought against what Hunter assumed to be a lesser demon.
'Pesky things' Hunter thought to himself as the person fought the demon, being pinned up against the wall while the demon held the persons own sword to their throat and Hunter bit his lip before heading over, taking out his own knife and stabbing it through the demons back, making it scream and writhe before it collapsed down.
The person fell from its grip as it fell, collecting their sword and the blade shrank so that the person could fit the weapon into their pocket, "Thanks"
"You're welcome" Hunter said politely and the person turned to look at him, Hunter's breath hitching.
They were absolutely gorgeous. Long blond hair down to their shoulders, a round face and big blue eyes which stared at him curiously,
"You aren't like me are you?" The person whispered and Hunter's mouth felt dry as he responded,
"Depends what you're like"
The person's lips spread into a smile and they began to walk off, Hunter watching them leave before heading off his own way.
He'd remember those blue eyes.
