"Who knew that watching the news was so fun!" he smiled walking into his kitchen and grabbed a small apple, He bit it. He sat down reading a book he bought a few years back. A small knock came from the door, he got up and opened it to see a woman with oak brown hair, He thought she was revolting and dismissed her right away. He couldn't stand seeing her around him.

"Get out." He directed as she fell to her knees begging for money

"Sir I'm desperate!" she pleads

"Get lost." He shut his door to block out the sobbing.

"People these days, they'll do anything for money!" he sang. He picked up his cell phone and called his secretary, he ordered them to file a 'party' plan for his schedule for the upcoming week.

"Got it boss!" they cheered

"Make sure to invite all in the area, I want it to be Huge! Make sure to make," he paused,

"large prices," They answered. "Good! I assume you'll attend?" he asked, "Yes sir, I will have the money." They said as he jumped with excitement. He hung up and got party planners to set up the house for an immaculate party, he was about to explode from joy,

"Look at how much money I'll be receiving!" he walked to his accounting books. He grabbed a calculator, a pencil and a sheet of paper.

"Woah! About a good hundred, thousand!" He laughed hysterically at the papers,

"and no liabilities!" he snickered.

"Unless the government tries to pull their tricks like they always do," he stopped, knocking came from the door a second time and looked through the little spyglass to see his secretary holding him plans he asked for. He opened the door.

"Yes?" he questioned,

"I have your plans" They answered,

"Go pass them out!" he ordered

"Yes sir". He had control over them all, except for the prisoners who weren't in his control. He had one person he had interest in, out of curiosity, he visited that person daily for questioning why they don't obey him, why they didn't want money.

"My life isn't being led by anyone! You don't own me, pretty boy" She leaned in smiling, he was tempted to kiss her but he re-framed himself, he didn't love or like her, he thought she was attractive even if he didn't like her, but he slipped her an invite anyway.

"You should think twice, what's your name?" he asked

"Liya, Liya Riveets" she answered smugly

"I hope you'll be joining us." He said before he stood

"Sure! I'll go, and be surrounded, with mind-controlled Ass-holes!" She yelled

"Yes, mind-controlled Ass-holes, Funny." He said sarcastically

"Be there." He finished and left. Liya was one who didn't listen to anyone, she hated the thought of going to that party, but she thought it was her only way out for freedom. During row-call her friend Emily Rosc was next to her Liya showed her the invite.

"Plus, one?" Emily asked and Liya nodded

"sweet" she pauses

"Emily, Rosc. Liya, Riveets" a guard called,

"Yes." We said in unison

"Sir!" Liya held the invite high, everyone was in anger, but Emily,

"Mr. Micane's?" he questioned and Liya nodded

"Plus, one..." He read

"Yes, I plan on taking Emily as my plus one." He looked at her

"So, you don't have a boyfriend?" The guard laughed

"No, he's dead." Liya smiled at the guard

"And you'll be too if you don't let us go. Micane will hang you like no tomorrow, gave it to me 'personally'" Liya's laugh shook the air around.

"Fine. I assume you don't have a dress?" He laughed

"ok Dick. and I assume you have no girlfriend?" Liya called, he smacked her, All the other prisoners laughed.

"Watch what you say!" he yelled. Emily attended to care for Liya.

"Soon," Liya repeated, the following day, Liya called Mr. Micane.

"Micane. Who's calling?" he questioned

"Liya, Riveets." She answered,

"Have you made up your mind?".

"Yes, but I need a few things." She told him that they needed two dresses, one baby blue and one a light lavender purple as well as makeup and shoes.

"Got it." Two days later, Liya and Emily received beautiful dresses and diamond-studded flats suited for the event, formal. Liya knew, that it's time to escape.
