It was six-thirty in the morning when Liya woke up to see Jake's hand over her side, 'What happened?' she thought, she felt different. She cuddled up to Jake 'What am I doing? Why am I doing this?' he moved his hand to her shoulder.

"Morning beautiful, sleep well?" he sounded almost, less formal.

"Yeah, what happened last night?" she turned to see him smiling

"Oh nothing, just, you show me, love!"

"Wow, after all this time, I had forgotten about it." Liya was stunned He kissed her all over

"I don't know what came over me last night, it was like, I wasn't myself," she spoke

"Oh, you were, and it was amazing!" Jake made a sheepish look as he sang

"So, you have some superpower or something?" she asked

"No, it's how I come off to people, it's like a natural feeling people get to just listen and obey," Liya smiles

"Do I make you feel like that?" she moved her hand to his face and he let out a small sigh

"Yes," he signed

"Do you really love me?" She asked as he nodded they kissed. Liya got up and got dressed 'I can't believe it, I did it.' She left for the kitchen making her most famous pancakes, she had made them for the guards, they loved pancakes before and now. The knocking came to the door, Liya answered and saw they were cops

"J-Jake the cops are here!" Jake walked out in his gold sheet robe, Liya hid behind him

"One second." Jake opened the door.

"May we speak to Liya Riveets?"

"Why," Jake questioned,

"We have, unsettled business." One cop spoke

"Oh yeah? And what's that?" Jake demanded

"Well," he looked at the others and smiled

"She owes me some alone time with her, for helping her escape when she went to prison." He said.

"Really? Have you ever thought that there might be a Lila?" Jake asked. The guard was dumbfounded, Jake shut the door

"Go away Bruce, you should know not to hit on the prisoners. Even if they are beautiful and 'meant for you'" Jake finished. Jake turned to Liya with a worried look

"What was that?" he asked

"Jake it's not what you think! I was desperate! I couldn't stand prison!" Jake turned around

"Did you promise him that you would..." Jake's tone saddened "No, I'm a criminal, I lie to get want I need." Liya walked closer

"Maybe we should take a day to talk, you know? Get to know each other's past." Jake calmed

"I would love that!" Liya yelled

"You need more than just pajamas before we continue, let's go shopping" Jake took out his phone and began to text his secretary, Joan.

"What are you doing?" Liya questioned Jake

"Shopping?" Jake answered

"No, put it down" Liya moved closer and closer, Jake lost his breath. He needed to hold her, but he stopped.

"Fine," Jake got dressed and took Liya to a clothing shop,

"Pick what you would like." And so Liya did, she grabbed a silky lavender dress, with a well-sewn cape that complimented the dress. It came time for lunch ad Liya had spotted a restaurant that she found to be interesting: Coffee shop is said on a small sign hanging over the glass door. After booking a table, Jake noticed something odd.

"Do, you write books?" Jake asked Liya with curiosity.

"A bit, I wrote a book in prison: I called a bird, that was its name," Liya explained,

"What did it look like?"

"A bird behind bars."

"Did you publish it?" Liya leaned over to see what he was trying to hint at.

"What are you looking at—" Liya froze

"Oh no," Liya said, she knew what was coming for her. People flooded the area,

"Liya! Liya! What was it like to be in prison?": "Why make such a readable book?": "What did it take to survive?" a lady harassed, Jake stood

"As you see, I'm in a small conference. If you would kindly do so, leave." Everyone left the scene quiet and calm.

"Thank you." Liya stood

"Do you think it'll pass?" Liya quizzed

"Yes, probably."

"Thank you, Jake, Thank you so much." Liya and Jake soon returned home to hear knocking on the door, it was Emily

"Hey girl!" she had two boys with her

"Oh, Emily you weren't Liya!"

"I see you have, children..." Jake sat down opening a book and began to read

"Hello, aunty Liya!" one boy said,

"This one is Jack," she said pointing two the taller boy with a dirty-blond look,

"This is Jonna. He is a trouble maker." She pointed to a boy with dirty blond hair as well, you could only tell them apart from their eyes.

"But yeah, do you mind if I give them to you for a bit? I have a lot of stress with me and my husband are going broke so we need time to ourselves," Emily sobbed "Awe Emily," Liya pulled Emily into a short warm hug

"I'll watch them, ok?" Liya agreed

"Yes! Thank you!" Emily sang and leaving Jonna and Jack with Liya.
