Joe's POVo
"Shhh its ok dianne" I said stroking her back whilst in the hug . She pulled away and gasped when she saw my bloody eyebrow. "Joe what happened" she asked confused, lifting her hand to look at it causing me to flinch away in pain. "Sorry, lets go inside so we can clean it" she said . "No , I'm ok Di I'm here to see if you're alright". "Joe , your bleeding come on" Di said while dragging me inside. I sat down on the sofa next to Zoe and Di carried over a bowl of water and a cloth. She dipped the cloth in water and gently dapped my cut. I flinched in pain as the cloth touched my cut. "Sorry" she said quickly taking the cloth away and stopping. "It's fine just a bit sore" I said reassuring her. She finished cleaning it and put antiseptic cream on it.

Dianne's POV
Once I cleaned joe's cut I put everything away and went back to Zoe and joe . I sat opposite to them and then a thought came across my mind. How did joe end up with a busted eyebrow. "Joe?". "Yea"he said . " what happened to your eye?". "Umm, toms friend punched me" he said whispering toms name. "Yea after you punched Tom to the ground" Zoe butted in. "Joe" I was shocked, why did he punch him. "What , how dare he treat you like that , after what I've put you through , you deserve better". " I don't deserve better I wound you up and told our whole year your crush you had every right to be mad at me and tell my secret and I'm not good enough for any boy I'm surprised he even went out with me" I said a teardrop rolling down my face . "Sorry to interrupt but I need to go I'll see you two soon" Zoe said while walking out the house. Joe had now moved next to me and turned his body towards me. He wiped the stray tears rolling down my cheeks. "Firstly dianne I was way out of order to do what I did and secondly any guy would be lucky to have you as their girlfriend your kind , talented, beautiful I could go on forever". " aww joe , thank you". "Come here" he said holding his arms out for a hug which I accepted. "Can we just be friends , I don't want to be frenemies anymore" he said pulling out the hug. " yea I missed my best friend" I said which made joe smile.

Joe's POV
Finally me and dianne had finally made up. No more fighting or shouting but now laughter and memories. This is all I wanted.
