Dianne's POV We walked into a beautiful Italian restaurant. It had fairy lights hung up in the windows and glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Joe laughed at how mesmerised I was so it took me a few seconds to realise he had been calling my name and I went bright red. He just laughed and took my hand in his leading me to a table. We both sat down and I waiter came over and handed us a menu. Instead of looking through the menu we both sat there admiring each other.
Joe's POV Once we had ordered food we were sat laughing at the stupid things Di kept coming out with. Tonight was the night I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. I was really nervous but I had it all planned out. Once we had finished eating I payed and we walked out the restaurant. "Do you want to go on a walk" I asked hoping she said yess otherwise my plan was ruined. " yes sure" she said giving me that cute sweet smile. As we were walking to the park me hand accidentally brushed against hers. I saw her blush and then she intertwined her fingers with mine, she looked at me and I smiled . We continued to walk to the park in a comfortable silence until I heard Di gasp.
Dianne's POV As joe was leading me we came across a path of petals which we followed until we came across a cute little bandstand lit with dozens of candles.

As I turned around I saw joe stood with a note in his hand. "Di , where do I began. I remember the day when we met in year one . I fell over and you came and helped me up, from then I knew we would be best friends. I remember all the times we used to have sleepovers and ended up getting told off either for raiding the kitchen or staying up till early hours in the morning laughing our heads off. I was there to witness your first ever break up and I took me like a week to try make you happy. I don't know what I would of done with out you. We've had our bad memories and times of arguments but our friendship was just to overpowering to stop us from hating each other. There is too many Wordsworth describe you. Your talented, kind, sweet , caring and may I add very beautiful. Now there is only one thing I have left and that's a question for you to answer. So Di will you be my girlfriend......."
