The alpha teacher's mate

chapter 6

I knew that my first day would be hard, but I didn't expect it to be this hard. After getting to spend a  whole hour with Alana l, I felt more confident about being a teacher especially since the first lesson went well. Unfortunately, my second class was a pain in the ass.

They were loud and so rude, if there weren't any humans in the room I would have used my alpha voice to control them, but to make matters worse, the alpha's kid Drew was in that classroom. I stood up from my seat to write on the board when I felt a ball of paper hit my head which caused me to turn around.

"Whoops, my hand slipped"

If it was legal to kill people, that bastard would be six feet under. Instead, I picked up a pen and wrote on a piece of paper.

"Leave my classroom and go to the principles office, you will have detention every day for an hour after school with me for the next two weeks starting tomorrow"

"That's totally not fair, you can't do that"

"Sorry my hand slipped"

Laughter sounded throughout the class and I coughed trying to cover up the laughter that bubbled in my throat from looking at Drew blush in anger and embarrassment. He picked up his bag before storming out of the room and slammed the door shut after him. I turned back to the class and continued the lesson after getting them to quiet down.

The rest of the day went alright other than a few of the students acting out. I managed to read over some of the work that Mickey had sent over and was pleased to see that he was mostly doing everything correctly other than a few ideas that I disagreed with. I also managed to sneak a note into Alana's locker without being caught, I wanted her to trust me so that I wouldn't be alone anymore.

I checked the time and saw that it was almost 6 pm so I started to pack my bags. I looked up and motioned for Sam to get ready to leave, he had been sitting there since 4:30 pm after his poetry club had ended. He sat on his phone texting someone, probably Alana whilst I read over a few more files and prepared lessons for tomorrow. When we got in the car I decided that I was too tired to cook so I asked Sam what he wanted to order and he just shrugged.

"Sam just pick something, what if I got something you didn't like?"

"I don't want to spend your money cause I won't be able to pay it back if you hadn't noticed I don't have a job"

"Fine let's make a deal. You clean the apartment and do the grocery shopping as a payment, alright"

Sam looked irritated but didn't argue, we decided on getting some pepperoni pizza with jalapeños, which Sam ordered whilst I drove. By the time we reached the apartment, it was only 6:30 so I decided to Skype Mickey. After a few rings Mickey picked up, he was panting and shirtless and had an annoyed look.

"Really mate, I was in the middle of making love to my mate"

I heard Ronnie in the background whine and I chuckled in response.

" Hey Ron, sorry for cock-blocking you man but I wanted to discuss a few things and see how you are doing so far"

"I'm doing alright so far, I upped the training level because they tried to slack off but Ron was havin' none of it mate"

I nodded my head and we carried on talking about the pack and how they were doing when Sam walked into the room.

"Sorry to disturb you Hunter but I wanted to know if Alana could come over for a while, I promise we will be quiet whilst you Skype your friend"

I nodded my head and Sam smiled.

"Well that's a relief cause she will be here in like 5 minutes"
