As a shameful habit of mine, I scratched the back of my head with my left hand a chuckled. "Where are you right now?"

"HUH?-" Suddenly, the sound quality got horrible, and I was left in the dark of what was happening.

"Uh... You okay?... K-Killua? You drop your phone or somethin'?"

Silence. Actually, wrong. The sound exiting my phone's speakers was horribly scratchy. After a good minute, things began to calm down, and I was blessed with a wonderful sounding voice. "I'm in... My dorm? Why, what's up?" He asked casually.

"I've been searching for you for so long, and-and Kurapika told me you were at the K building. The only problem is, I don't know where in the hell the K building is... So I called you because I was lost."

Laughter. Fucking laughter. From Killua, my only hope. "That's... You really are like a lost puppy!" Way to make me feel special... Special ed.

"Wow. I'm so glad. CAN I JUST GET HELP? People are giving me weird looks and I'm tired."

"How did you connect weird looks and tiredness," He mumbled under his breath, "Okay! Where are you at?"

I searched around for a familiar landmark. "Uhh... K building."

He snickered through the line. "You found the K building at least. How's that make you feel?"

"Like shit. Can you stop teasing me and just give me some directions? I'm really lost over here."

"Okay, okay. I'll help you." He sighed.

...

I pushed the entrance to the dorms open. It was nice to see a familiar background after being lost for so long... I ran to the elevator, slapping the button and bouncing in the confined space. Slapping another button, and then bouncing some more. The elevator stopped, and I rushed out to find my Killua.

I ran for what seemed like forever. And when I arrived at the door, I didn't have to ask to intrude, because now we had something else to share. Besides our bond that fate wrapped us in with a red string.

The door flew open, and I was greeted with Killua. Just Killua. Not Leorio, not Kurapika. Just us.

Perhaps it was very selfish of me to think of things this way, but wherever I went, I was surrounded by people I didn't care about.

     I just wanted Killua.

Before I knew it, we were embracing. The warmth of his body against mine was music for my soul. I had finally gotten what I had secretly desired. Just Killua and I against the world. "I missed you."

     "I'm sure you did."

A/N: This is the end I suppose. This story was going nowhere, but I'm not happy with the ending. WHEN DID IT GET SO M U S H Y...
