You walked through the passages of the Resistance base of Ajan Kloss, feeling powerful. You walked past Poe, purposefully brushing past him to bother him and catch his attention. At first, he didn't realize it was you.

Then he stopped in his tracks and whirled around. "Hotshot?"

You turned around, pretending to have not noticed him. "Oh, it's you, Dameron. I didn't notice you."

He viewed your body, his eyes wandering up and down.

"Wandering eyes can get you punished, Dameron," you warned him, wagging a finger at him.

"What are you wearing?" Poe asked.

"How'd your meeting go?" You questioned, ignoring his question.

"Fine! It went completely fine," Poe growled.

"If it went so fine then why do you sound so pissed off?" You inquired.

"I said---" he walked up so close to you that you could feel his hot breath against your face,"---it went fine."

"Damn, who twisted your panties?" You asked, backing off.

Poe took a deep breath, as if he was trying to maintain his anger. "I need to go fix my X-wing."

There was something off about him. Just earlier today Poe was a smug, self-centered and joking person. Now he was angry and sour. Something must've happened.

You saw Rey walking by and you grabbed her by the arm to stop her. "Hey, Rey. Do you know what's wrong with Poe?"

"Oh, so you've experienced his angry Poe wrath," Rey said, smiling and folding her arms. "Yeah, he's being a temperamental baby. Oh that Poe. He's mad because during the meeting Leia held about the mission she didn't appoint him for it, and that's something he had really been looking forward to."

"Well, she must've had her reasons for that," you deduced.

"She didn't exactly state them, but Poe isn't a very forgiving person. First he tried convincing Leia to appoint him, then he began yelling. It was actually kind of scary. Afterwards she yelled back at him and said that he wasn't fit for the mission because of how impulsive he was, and after that, he just stormed out of the room," Rey explained.

"Geez, that's harsh," you remarked. "I actually feel kind of bad for the guy."

"Well that's a first," Rey laughed. "You know, everyone's talking about the delicious meal you prepped. It was really good."

You blushed. "Yeah, I guess I tend to cook like a pro when I'm pissed."

"You know," Rey began.

"What? What is that face?" You asked, she was grinning mischievously.

"You could go talk to Poe, maybe cheer him up. I'm sure just the sight of you will make him happy," Rey suggested.

"Okay, first of all, you ship something that's not there," you said.

"But isn't it?" Rey asked, raising a brow and grinning.

"Secondly," you continued, elbowing her, "he's pissed at me."

"He's just taking his anger out on you because of the whole thing that happened with Leia, he's not actually mad at you."

"I don't know if I wanna go cheer him up," you said.

"Aw, come on! Nobody likes him when he's angry like that. I'm pretty sure you're the only one who can make him happy again," Rey told you, she looked at you with puppy eyes and pouted. "Pleeeease?"
