(This chapter is shorter than others because it's literally just Beanman and Teddy fighting. Enjoy or don't, it's up to you.)

Beanman was wandering around in the ship. He had been walking in there for about an hour now. He knew he had only an hour of superpower-time left. He had been going around and around in the ship, in search for a way up or down the vessel. He was slightly surprised when he heard footsteps. He thought he had thrown everyone out of this floor already. He followed the footsteps. They were at the end of the hallway Beanman was located in. He proceeded to chase the footsteps, who also seemed to be looking for Beanman. Beanman prepared his fists, by wiping off the blood of his former enemies. He readied himself to throw a punch, but he couldn't move as soon as he saw his opponent. He lowered his fist and yelled:

'Teddy! I am so glad you're okay!'

Teddy just looked back at him. He moved towards Beanman, signalling a hug by opening his arms. He started to run to Beanman, and Beanman returned the favor and ran towards him. As soon as Beanman got close, Teddy swiftly lunged his fist towards Beanman. Beanman saw this just early enough to jump back. Teddy missed, and charged towards his master. Beanman didn't know what was happening to Teddy, but it seemed like they were fighting now.

'Teddy, what is wrong with you?'

Teddy swung his huge arm at Beanman as a response. Beanman had fought alongside his buddy for many years, so Beanman dodged with ease, since he knew all Teddy's techniques. Why was Teddy doing this? What have they done to him? Teddy reminded him that they were fighting by hitting hard, right in Beanman's face. Beanman bashed into the wall behind the two, and coughed up some blood. It was then that Beanman realized that he had to fight Teddy, and take the risk of hurting him. Teddy walked in Beanman's direction. Slow and menacing. Beanman took hold of the wall, and launched himself at Teddy. Teddy, who also knew Beanman inside out, simply stepped aside to dodge in the incoming Beanman. Beanman turned around, and used his momentum to deliver a firm strike, aimed at Teddy's chest. Teddy couldn't react in time and the powerful punch landed in his stomach. Teddy got pushed back a little, and Beanman took his chance to deliver another swift punch. Teddy was so flabbergasted by the power of the first punch, that his guard was completely down, resulting in him falling on his back. Beanman pulled Teddy back on his feet, and hit his buddy again, this time square in the face. Teddy tried to get back to the floor, but Beanman wasn't done with him. He pulled the teddy bear back up, to then punch him back down. And again. And again. And again. Suddenly, Beanman stopped. Teddy looked different. His body now had multiple scars, with an exceptionally big one on his torso. Beanman leaped back, inspecting the sudden transformation. Beanman looked in awe while his friend was being ripped apart, revealing something, something else. it didn't look natural at all. Purple tentacles crawled their way out of the ripped holes in Teddy's body. Teddy's neck snapped and revealed two yellow eyes, looking at Beanman like he was a fresh prey. Beanman stepped back, his eyes wide open and with a loss of words. Tentacles crawled around the walls, as 'Teddy' dragged its old Teddy bear body across the room, settling in a corner. Beanman was paralyzed due to the shock. He managed to snap out of it right in time to dodge an incoming tentacle. Beanman took the time to look at his new opponent before attacking. 'Teddy''s eyes were focused on Beanman and Beanman only, while the multiple tentacles coming out of the openings were crawling over the clean, white walls. Out of the big hole on 'Teddy''s belly came three thick tentacles, bringing shame to all the others. The big ones didn't seem to prepare to attack, but rather seemed to defend. It was weird that the biggest and most capable tentacles were all put into defense. That weird thing must be hiding something close to the three, humongous tentacles sticking out of the big tear. Beanman knows exactly what. 'Teddy' was protecting Teddy's magical beans. Those beans keep Teddy as Teddy, and not a regular teddy bear. 'Teddy' must be dependent on them, like Teddy is.

'So they did something to your beans?'

Beanman asked, already knowing the answer. Two tentacles raced towards the hero. Beanman grabbed the squishy things, and pulled hard. 'Teddy' cried it out of pain. Its high-pitched screech almost made Beanman's ears bleed. After recovering from the immense pain in his eardrums, Beanman dashed towards the three meaty tentacles. The top tentacle took first action, by swirling itself around Beanman's neck in an attempt to strangle him. Beanman felt the grip, and took hold of his attacker. He started to pull. The tentacle complained slightly, but snapped after not too long. Beanman was surprised by how easy it was to break one of 'Teddy''s ace tentacles. It was like it was holding back for some unknown reason. Beanman stepped forward. The second tentacle blocked the way, but nothing else. Beanman pushed the thick thing aside and kept walking towards his target. The third tentacle didn't even bother to do anything about the approaching Beanman. Beanman pulled it out of 'Teddy''s body. Without the tentacles there to protect them, the two magical beans within laid bare. Beanman didn't recognize one of them. Instead of its usual lime color, this one was radiating a dark purple glow. This must be why Teddy acted up like this. Beanman took out his final bean, that grants superpowers for eternity. He looked up to the yellow eyes located above him. The expression has completely changed. 'Teddy''s eyes were now filled with fear. This thing had emotions? Was its fear why it barely fought back? Beanman grasped the dark purple bean and swiftly replaced it with his magical bean. A weird noise resounded in the hallways. The monster collapsed, and retreated back into the torn apart Teddy. Teddy's body started to magically repair itself. The tentacles fell off of the teddy bear, since they were cut off by the holes gaps closing. Soon Teddy stared at Beanman, sitting in the tentacle-mess. Beanman sighed.

'God thank'

He said, and he and Teddy hugged each other firmly. Beanman continued.

'Teddy, do you know the way to an elevator or stairs?'

Teddy nodded and brought his master to the end of the corridor. He then showed him to the elevator located there. Beanman nodded and looked turned to his companion.

'I'll go up, you stay here, ok?'

Beanman stepped into the elevator and went upwards, leaving Teddy behind to rest.
