Throwing the list on the bed, a sigh left my mouth as I tried to grasp how life has come to this. It wasn't like this before, what was a world with no privacy, no trust, no excitement, no love.
Everything was uniformed, and boring. In the old days they would have called this cycle "dry," and I agree.
I walked to the digital mirror needing to pick up the pace knowing work started in twenty minutes.
"Hello, 1911750. Work starts in twenty minutes. Please choose an outfit for today," brushing my teeth, I tapped the mirror selecting which beige outfit I wanted to choose for today.
