"What were you thinking-!" My father's veins popped out as he yelled. A little spit splattered out his mouth making me take a step back.

"You deliberately disobeyed me." He shook his head and in return, my lips pressed together as I huffed.

"This ain't lion king. I did what was best for us and I got the girl and her friend. If anything instead of being mad that Carter and I brought them, you should be thanking us." He had been going on for about an hour about how much of a mistake it was for me to go and get them without telling him. He was concerned for my safety but I was back and there were more important things to worry besides me.

Carter had taken her friend who I discovered name was Tabatha, Diablo's daughter with him because I didn't have enough room in my apartment with my brother staying here. He barely lived here mostly staying at whatever female can occupy his penis at the moment.

The whole way to the city the girls were in awe looking at how everything had evolved since they last been out. I couldn't help myself from constantly looking at Saige more. Her eyes sparkled every time she saw a new store, or a new person walking by in clothes that didn't look dull. She constantly reached her neck out the window for fresh air and I couldn't help but smile at her.

Once we got out the car people mumbled around and to make them feel more comfortable we told them about the living arrangements that we could muster up with a little time, and Saige asked to stay with me because she was more comfortable with me while Tabatha went with Carter.

Not having more to argue about he looked over to her as she touched every little thing in the house amused.

"Let me talk to her..." Putting my hand up to stop him he looked down at me with a frown.

"She just got here, as you can see this is a lot for her to take in." We watched her open my refrigerator and just stare. I don't know the last the time she saw that much food together and I could see her mouth drooling at the thought.

"Bring her to the warehouse tomorrow, and her friend. Everyone's going to have questions." He turned around heading to the front door. Although I had worries I sighed and to avoid arguing I nodded my head. I already went against him enough recently. I just didn't want to scare her with moving too fast.

I wondered if she knew how important she was about to be.

Once my father was done, I looked all over the living room and kitchen to see she was gone. Heading upstairs ignoring the hand-print on my wall that could teleport me anywhere in my house with recognition, I rather do things by step.

Too much technology was the devil. Some things were beginning to allow people to not function correctly. Once robots started taking the jobs in fast foods people began getting suspect. Of course, after all the many people disturbed by the idea, they stopped it.

Passing the bathroom, I watched her sit in front of it pressing the many buttons that allowed it to do different functions.
