"Ah!" I let out a pitched squeal type sound as he threw another handful of flour at me. I retaliated by throwing an egg at him that missed and hit the cupboard behind him. His mouth gaped open and his eyes widened as he looked back where the egg drooped down the wooden door.

The afternoon sun flooded into the kitchen adding to the warm atmosphere. This summer had begun particularly warm, and yet the two of us still decided to spend most of our days inside, avoiding the mass of people who would be swarming the streets throughout the holidays.

We continued throwing cookie ingredients at each other as he put the tray in the oven. After doing so, he quickly stood up and swooped me from the floor, holding onto my waist as he lifted me onto the counter behind me.

I giggled as he kept his hands in place as he looked up to me with his smile slowly fading.

"What's wrong?" I asked, moving my head down to match his eye height.

"I love you" He responded without a change of facial expression.

My face also dropped after he spoke those words.

"I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you Dong Sicheng. I love you" He dang slowly as he stepped back and danced around the kitchem, his smile now back as he stopped and looked me in the eyes.

"Yuta...I..."

"It's okay, you don't have to say it, I just... I can't hold it in anymore. From that day I asked you to be my boyfriend to that day I came back from Japan to surprise you to now. I have wanted to say it for so long. I love you, and I'm sorry if it's too much but... it's true" As he spoke the last sentence his smile slowly dropped again.

I quickly dipped my finger under his chin and tilted it back up so he was facing me once again. Once our eyes connected I moved my hand so it was placed lightly against his cheek. "I love you too" I smiled softly before biting my bottom lip as his smile started beaming again.

His eyes slowly fell down my face until they met my lips. I sneakily licked them to tease him and watched as he did the same. He slowly leaned closer to me, pulling me to the edge of the counter as he stood with one of my legs either side of his waist.

As the gap grew smaller, I could feel his breath blow across my lips, the warmth making me want our lips to clash together faster. Just as the gap was about to close he stopped and pulled away slightly.

"You're okay with this right?" He asked, resting his forehead against mine as I nodded. I noticed the smile on his lips grow as he closed the gap completely, pressing his lips tightly against mine as both his hands took their place on my waist.

As our lips eventually started to move, I could feel the softness of his as they pressed harder against the chapped ones of my own. He slowly picked up the pace, pulling me closer to him so our bodies were as close as possible without touching, yet I could still feel his warmth. The kiss slowly grew to the point that we were making out in the kitchen with me still sat on the countertop.

After a few minutes or so, I could smell something that was taking over the room. I eventually managed to pull out of the kiss, making Yuta pout and not overly enjoying the loss of heat myself.

"Cookies," I said brethlessly with a smile, making him realise what was happening before we got a little carried away. He quickly pulled his body away from me and walked over to the oven and pulled the tray from the heat. I lifted myself up so I could see over his shoulder and sighed in relief as he turned around to show me the golden brown circles that spread over the baking paper that was placed across the tin surface.

He smiled before turning back around and starting to place the baked goods onto a plate. He then walked over and placed the plate down next to me, before taking one for himself and handing one to me.

"One year. I have known you for one year and it has been the best of my life. Here's to the next forever" He smiled as he held the cookie out in front of him, I quickly cheers-ed my cookie with his before taking a bite and allowing the warm goodness to melt in my mouth before taking another bite.

For the rest of the evening, We sat in the lounge, watching movies and eating the cookies we made with a glass of milk. As the evening rolled in, the sky eventually fell dark. I slowly rolled over so I was looking up at Yuta, resting my chin on his chest, feeling his heart beat.

He looked back down at me and smiled, "What?" he asked softly.

"I love you" I smiled,

"I love you too" He smiled back, pacing a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you more" I giggled, nuzzling my head into his chest since I was now comfortable with the idea of being in love. Being in love with him.

In love with someone that is just so...

*RING*

The sudden sound startled me, making me jump from the kitchen counter where I had been sat. I looked around the room and noticed Kun taking the tray from the oven as he smiled over at me.

"They look good" He smiled before placing the tray on the counter.

Just as he spoke a piercing pain shot through my head, causing me to fall to the floor as I grabbed handfuls of my hair. I felt a hand placed on my back as a body sat on the floor next to me.

After a few seconds, the pain passed and I was left feeling light-headed as I picked myself from the ground.

"Hey, Winwin, are you okay?" Kun asked as I started my way out the room.

"Yeah I'm fine, just a headache, I'm going to go lay down, don't tell anyone about this, I don't want them worrying about me," I sighed before stepping through the door.

As I made my way to my room, I could still feel his heat around me, the warmth this boy gave off was so comforting. This mystery boy who is causing me pain is also bringing me comfort. I'm so conflicted.

If only I knew who he is?
