Chapter 11

It was the day for her to go and film the next movie. She didn't want to leave but she knew it was part of the job.

There was a car coming to pick her up and she just finished packing when it arrived.

"Well" Jacob said.

"Well".

"Come here"he opened his arms for a hug.

"See you soon" she said.

"See you soon and don't have to much fun".

"I'll try".

The hug and kissed one last time and she was gone.

She didn't know how everything worked and she certainly isn't comfortable in the airport alone but she had to do what she has to do.

When she got out of the car all she saw were flashes as paparazzi was there. She dealt with this before but not to the extreme of this.

She reached where she needed to go and she was heading to New York. She was excited as she always wanted to experience New York.

She got to her hotel and suddenly had the urge to call Jacob. She forgot about the time zone because he is probably doing something as he usually is at this time. She got her schedule for everything and she had tomorrow day free as they had night shoots.

She just wanted a casual day and spent the rest of the day in the hotel room.

She got a call from Jacob "hi Quinn".

"Hi".

"Get there okay?"

"Yeah".

"Well I have some news".

"Is it good news?"

"Yes and no".

"That doesn't sound fun".

"Well I got a role in a movie and it was so last minute I just got the call. The lead actor dropped out and they wanted me and I told you about this and how bad I wanted it".

"That is amazing news. Why is it bad?"

"Well we talked about wanting to do a second honeymoon when you finish filming this one because you'll be done in a couple of weeks".

"Okay".

"I leave the day you get done and it might take a little over a month to finish".

"Oh" she had no idea what he was talking about a second honeymoon.

"Yeah I'll drop out if the trip means a lot to you".

"No your crazy I'm happy for you and I'll guess I'll see you when you get back".

"Yeah and you can always come and visit me".

"We will see".

They talked for a couple of minutes before he had to go do something and she was tired and wanted to sleep.

She felt so sad about not being able to go on the second honeymoon but she had to stay happy about him getting a new role.

She ate breakfast and wanted to do the typical tourist stuff but she didn't know if she was up to it.

She went anyway.

She didn't do a lot she just went to bookstores and she felt the need to buy more clothes so she went shopping. By the time she did some of the stuff she wanted she headed back to the hotel to rest before she had to start filming.

She took a nap and got woke up by the phone ringing. It was time to get moving. On the way there she went over her lines and looked at the schedule and should be done fairly quickly. It might not take a couple of weeks and maybe only a week.

She arrived on set and had to immediately go to hair and makeup. She was so happy she was in clothes that are comfortable to her.

Since she was only a small part in this project she had big gaps in filming.

It was about 1 in the morning when she wrapped and she was so happy to sleep even though her call time was early in the morning. She decided to sleep in her trailer because there was no point in going back to the hotel, sleeping for a couple of hours just to have to drive back. The couch in her trailer was really comfortable and she feel asleep like it was nothing.

The one thing she hated about this life was the constant knocks on the door. She had to have her wake up calls.

She was doing really well with remembering her lines and most of the cast was super nice. There was this one actor who she could just tell that she didn't like her.

Her name was Debra Olsen and she has no idea what happened between them or Quinn was to much in her head.

When they were on a lunch break she looked up both of them and see if she was right about her instinct.

She wasn't wrong and she was so right.

Turns out they used to be friends but when Jacob came into the picture they drifted apart because Debra used to date him a while back.

By all the timelines and articles she had been finding they weren't friends when they were dating and became friends way after they broken up.

Quinn assumed that Debra wasn't over him and her and Jacob dating caused them to drift.

"She must really hate me now since we are married" she whispered to her self.

She wanted to be a better person and to have a real conversation with her that is not in front of the cameras.

"Debra can we talk?" She asked Debra.

"I guess there isn't much to talk about".

"I'm sorry for whatever happened between us".

"Like dating my ex who I was still in love with".

"I'm sorry but that was before we were friends".

"So".

"So I'm sorry but Jacob and I".

"I know are really happy and I'm happy for you both but it still hurts".

"And I'm sorry about it all. I miss having you in my life".

"And I do to".

"And".

"And I just need to think about it".

"That's all I'm asking".

She walked away and Quinn went and called Jacob.

"Hey Quinn".

"Hi can we talk about something real quick".

"Of course".

"Well Debra is working on this movie and I want to be friends with her again and wanted to know if it was okay with you".

"Yeah I don't care. She may be my ex but you were friends with her before I knew her so I want you to be friends with whoever you want".

"Thanks".

"Did something happen?"

"No I just felt that this could be easier filming if we didn't hate each other so I talked to her about and she said she will think about it".

"Okay yeah it's fine".

"I love you".

"And I love you talk to you soon".

She hung up the phone and felt confident that she can actually have a friend.
