She arrived at the softball field and noticed one girl she absolutely did not like back in high school.
Her name was Janice Edwards and back in high school Quinn was friends with her boyfriend at the time Kevin. Janice always hated them being friends because she always thought there was something going on between them.
There was nothing but Janice didn't like the fact of how close they were.
They were friends way before she came into the picture. When Quinn said she wasn't going to stop being friends with Kevin and assured there was nothing going on Janice wanted to be the mean girl and start nasty rumors about her.
The rumor was that she paid guys to date her and she had infectious diseases.
When that rumor started Kevin decided to call the friendship off but only in public while she was losing friends by the day.
"Good morning Quinn, ready for another awesome day of practice?" Janice said to her.
She had a confusing look on her face "yeah can't wait".
"I guess whatever happened didn't" she thought to herself.
She was nervous about practicing because what if she did something embarrassing and stupid.
She had to deal with the consequences.
The before practice meeting was fun and she didn't think it was going to be.
The coach informed her that she was switching from right field to left.
Everyone went to their positions.
The practice actually went really well and she did great and a lot better then she expected.
After practice the whole team went out for pizza and some of the girls not all were nice.
She got along with a lot of them.
Quinn was tired but mainly sore and headed home.
She immediately laid down on the coach and was ready to call it a day but then there was a knock on the door.
"Now what" she said to herself.
She looked through the peep hole and it was Kevin.
She doesn't remember anything on the note about Kevin but then she realized she didn't continue reading the whole thing.
She just wanted to pretend that she wasn't home but she's not like that so she opened the door.
"Hey" she said.
"What no hug no kiss? Are you mad at me?" He asked.
"No I'm just tired I literally got home from practice".
"I know I'm messing with you".
He came in and she closed the door.
"Want to do anything tonight?" He asked.
"Not really I'm tired and sore".
"I understand then I'll just stay with you tonight".
She wanted to tell him no and get lost but this life was different "sure that's fine".
"Sure that's fine are you sure that you aren't mad at me".
"Is there a reason I should be".
"I don't know you seemed fine the other day so I honestly don't know".
"I'm not mad just tired".
"Whatever you say".
She sat on the couch with him and tried to act as normal as possible but she was weirded out that out of all the guys she had to be with Kevin.
Maybe staying in softball or whatever changed back in high school made Janice not hate her and Kevin not leave.
She has always liked Kevin a little because she was into baseball players and he played mainly his whole life.
When he went to the bathroom she looked him up and turns out he's also a pro player.
She decided to look up the both of them together and there was a load of pictures.
Turns out they have been dating for years now.
She heard the toilet flush and locked her phone.
She pretended she wasn't just internet stalking.
He came from behind and put his arms around her.
"Can I finally have that kiss?" He asked.
"Ehh fine".
She put her head back to let him kiss her.
"Are you happy now?" She asked with a smile on her face.
"Yes thank you".
"Weirdo".
"What did you just call me?"
"A weirdo".
"Oh".
They were acting like little kids but she liked it and loved being around him.
They went out to dinner and she never had to deal with so many flashing lights.
Dinner was going really well and she was happy. She started to think something had to go wrong for Hal to bring her so soon.
For now she didn't want to think of it.
After dinner they went back to her place and just laid on the bed.
She was waiting for him to fall asleep so she could read the rest of the not and see if it mentioned him.
He fell asleep really fast and she went and read the note.
The only thing she got from the note is that sticking with softball mostly gave her different friends including Janice and the her and Kevin never dated.
She was amazed by it all and was whatever about and went back to bed and cuddled into kevin.
She couldn't believe that in these two different lives she had a boyfriend and or husband in both of them.
She then wondered what went wrong in her normal life.
