Chapter 12

Quinn wrapped filming and it was so much easier for her once her and Debra got somewhat along. She returned home and home was to empty because it was just her in the enormous house. Her and Jacob talked as much as they could but she just didn't feel happy anymore.

She was happy for Jacob of course but she wished she wasn't alone.

In this life she knew she at least had one friend but she didn't want to pretend anymore that she knew what was going on. She went grocery shopping and got recognized of course but she didn't mind that much about it. She kind of gotten used to it when she was in the singer lifestyle. When she got back home she watched tv and responded to emails.

Her agent emailed her about more auditions and she was ready for more work but then she was not. She wanted to experience auditions so she agreed to a couple and to see what could happen.

She did all this to have a more fun life but she started missing her old one or her normal one. While she did do the same thing everyday she just missed knowing what's going on because now she is lost and has to pretend about everything.

A couple of days later Quinn had an audition and it went really well, so she thought. She was glad that she got to experience that part.

She was done with this life and just wanted to be back in her apartment going to her law firm job and just have everything back to normal.

She felt close to Jacob that she wanted to see him one last time. She found out where he was and flew to say goodbye.

When she arrived it was his day off and met him at his hotel.

"Hi Quinn I'm so glad you decided to come" he said.

"Me too".

They spend the day together and she felt Jacob knew something was going on but he was the perfect person and just let her ramble on.

Out of all the guys she's been with in these different lives Jacob was definitely the one she felt close to and she had no idea because she was with Kevin and she knew him for like ever.

It was then the next day and Jacob had a full day of filming and she hugged and kissed him goodbye.

Once she knew he was gone it was time to say goodbye to this life.

"Hal if you hear me I'm ready to go back to my normal life" she said.

Hal then appeared "are you sure about this".

"I am".

"Okay here we go".

The light appeared and she was back in her original apartment just like she remembered it.

"Does anyone know I was gone?" She asked.

"Check the time".

She checked the time and it was the same exact moment when she discovered the door and there was no time that passed.

"Have you learned anything while this all happened?" Hal asked.

"Well a lot actually. I mean everyone was right when they said that everything happens for a reason. I got to live all the lives I wanted to have and yeah sure they were all glorious but maybe I do hate what I'm currently doing but I know what's going on and I don't have to pretend. I will miss some of them but I'm just glad I had the experience to live them. Thank you Hal".

"I'm glad I could help".

"I also learned that life is supposed to be fun and adventures and you gave me all that and maybe I'll regret coming back to this life but I'll never regret making that dream list because I have been living one of my dreams and it's fine for me. This whole experience taught me to never stop dreaming and just to keep living".

"It's been fun Quinn but I must go".

"Will I ever see you again?"

"You know how to find me".

Hal then disappeared. She went to bed that night just staring at her ceiling and thinking if she made the right choice.

Deep down she knew she did but she still felt she was missing out on something.

She didn't want to think about it so she tried to sleep.

She woke to up to alarms and she knew she didn't miss that.

"Let's go back to normal" she said to herself.

She got up and got ready for the day.

Dreams are nice because it gave Quinn a new way of looking at things. She may regret it but for now she had to deal with her decisions and maybe it will turn out better then she expected.
