I went out early this morning with Ryan as I promised with the girls we're having breakfast together at McD. What a coincidence, Ryan also having a breakfast outside with his buddies so I didn't have to book an uber to go to the McD. Safe money.

My phone lights up on my lap and I saw text from Lauren "I'm here" and I texted her back  " 2 minutes away 😜 ". Another text pop up from Ashlyn "on my way"

Grabbing my charger and water bottle I bid Ryan goodbye as soon we arrived and  hopped off from his car. I looked around then easily spotted Lauren sitting near by the window looking at her phone. I make my way to the seat and sit in front of her.

"Hey, morning babe" I greeted her as soon as I sit.

"Hey, morning babe" she put down her phone on the table and looking at me with a smiley face. We started talking while waiting for Ashlyn. I remind her about what my mom said and she was excited to meet my mom. My eyes can't stop looking outside the window searching for someone but I didn't saw any sight of her yet.

I turned to Lauren and asked "Where's Ash ?"

"Uh she said-"

"Morning girls!" Speaking of devil. I turn around saw Ashlyn jogged to our seat. She has a big smile spread on her face then she took a seat next to mine.

"Sorry, I'm late" she said
"Nah, it's okay" I said
"Ugh, it's normal Ash. Always late! L" Lauren playfully roll her eyes and a giggle escaped from my mouth

Ashlyn eyeing our table and sighing "why you guys didn't order first?"

"Actually I wanted to. But, Sofia wanted waiting for you so, I- no we have to wait untill you show up" Lauren said in duh tone

"Next time don't wait for me kay?" Ashlyn turned to me and I just nodded my head. Suddenly, she stand up "what do you guys want? Let me order it for you two " Ashlyn smiled at us and both Lauren and I looked at each other grinning.

"Mc Chicken with curly fries and hot tea" I said

"and mine Mc Chicken with fries, Apple pie and hot latte" Lauren said

"Okay, coming!" Ashlyn winked at us and run to the counter.

"What it wrong with her? She seems excited today" I eyed Ashlyn from our seat and turned to Lauren who's looking at the girl with a curiosity.

"I don't know what's wrong with this girl" Lauren shook her head having no idea.

Not long after that, Ashlyn came with a tray full of our foods.

"Here you go misses" she passed our foods then keep the empty tray to the next table and sit back. Before we eat, she said "just think this is as my punishment for being late and Sofia, I'm sorry but you have to deal with me because this is me" I laughed and shook my head with the nonsense Ashlyn said.

"Stop being weird Ash. I understand" I said in my laughter. Lauren nodded while sipping her drink. We ate in the comfortable silenced. Everyone seems enjoying their breakfast over talking.

After everyone finished their food, Lauren decided to asked Ashlyn why she seem so happy today. "Hey, did something happen today? Why are you looks so happy? it's weird you know because I never seen you this happy"
