Same Scenario

I don't know how to react after seeing Aiden kissing another woman inside Shandens Bar. After a long week passed without seeing him, ito ang makikita ko. It makes my raging anger boil my senses.

How could he kiss someone else after not seeing me?

I'm sipping on my fifth glass of Margarita while Asthra is talking to LG at our table.

Kasalukuyan akong nasa bar counter para um-order ng panibagong glass of Margarita nang magawi ang mata ko sa 'di kalayuang mesa. Medyo madilim ang bandang iyon, pero nakuha pa rin ang atensiyon ko dahil kay Aiden. Why would he not if he's just too damn handsome not to notice?

A week after what happened to me, Deisdan flew to Paris for good; that's what Troshin said. He also sent me a voice message saying his apologies. I didn't bother to reply, Deisdan; it's for both our own good, dahil na rin sa hindi naman ito lang ang may kasalanan, and I also had a big part in it. I wiped off my tears before I decided to go back to our table. There is no LG or Asthra sitting there anymore.

I sighed, roamed my eyes around, and saw the two dancing so sweetly on the dance floor. Napailing na lang ako at naupo.

Agad kong kinuha ang inumin na nasa isang shot glass at nilagok.

I knew that I was tipsy already when a man sat down beside me. I didn't pay attention to whoever it was. I'm busy sipping my shot. At halos mapatayo ako sa gulat ng biglang may kamay na gumapang sa beywang ko.

"Damn it!" mahinang mura ko tsaka sinamaan nang tingin ang tarantadong humawak sa akin.

"You look so gorgeous." A smirk plastered on the unknown guy beside me. He has good looks, but not my type.

"Get off your hand on my waist, asshole," seryoso kong saad ditto. Pero imbes na tanggalin nito ang kamay ay bahagya pa nitong pinisil ang bewyang ko na ikinaigtad ko.

"What the fuck! I said, get your hands off me!" medyo napalakas ang sigaw ko dahil sa inis na nararamdaman. The nearest people around us look in our direction.

I rolled my eyes and glared at the man beside me.

"Are you a fucking stupid, asshole?" galit na saad ko.

"Hey, chill, baby. I want to have fun with you."

Ang nakakalokong ngiti at mapupungay na mga mata nito ang mas lalong nagpa-inis sa akin. What the hell is wrong with this handsome but damn annoying man?

"Shut up. Find another woman for your shit, stop annoying me."

Mas lalong lumapad ang ngiti nito kaya mugtok ang mukha kong tumayo at naglakad palabas ng bar. 'Di pa man ako nakakalapit sa sasakyan ay may humawak sa kamay ko na agad kong iwinaksi.

This man is really getting on my fucking nerves.

"What! Mukha ba akong nakikipagbiruan sa 'yo na kahit dito sa parking lot ay susundan mo ako?!" inis na singhal ko, but the man only smirked at me.

Unti-unti na ako nakaramdam ng kaba. Aside from being alone here in a parking lot, medyo nahihilo na rin ako dahil sa ininum ko kanina.

I was stunned when the man's hand pulled me closer. Napatili pa ako dahil sa biglaan nitong paghila sa akin.

"What the! Let me go!" singhal ko uli. The man was drunk; I know it.

This scenario was the same as what Deisdan did. It scares me. My breathing becomes heavy. Nagsimula na rin akong manginig. Nauulit lang ang nangyari sa akin.

"Just come with me, baby. Just tonight. I promise, you'll never regret—fuck!"

Nanlalaki ang mata ko sa gulat. Muntik na rin akong napasubsub sa kalsada dahil sa biglaang pagkatumba ng lalaki. Kung wala lang nakahawak sa akin ay malamang nakahalik na ako nagyon sa semento!

The same scenario with the same person who saved me.

Aiden's raging anger toward the man was very visible in his face. Mabilis ang paghinga nito; palatandaan na galit na galit ito. Napanganga lang ako habang hawak ni Aiden ang kamay ko.

Mabilis pa rin ang paghinga nito at di man lang ako tinapunan ng tingin. He is just staring at the steering wheel for awhile, bago nito pinaharurot ang sasakyan.
