I woke up in a windowless room, or at least it felt like I'm awake. I had this dream about once a month. A man, the same man I saw today was in the room across from me. Like usual, I was tied to the chair, and a gag was put around my mouth. I looked around, just as I always do, and soon recognise the room I am in. It is as small as always, and as usual, a bit chilly. The man looks at me, and starts to smile.
"Good morning Jordan." He starts, as usual. I am pretty sure it actually isn't morning, but I can't correct him because my mouth is gagged. "Today, we are going to continue the conversation I started last. How dear mommy died. Are you ready to find out the truth?" He asked. Last time he 'summoned my presence,' he talked about my mother's death, not naming the events that happened or who killed her, but described where it was and stuff. How the hell is that going to help me figure out anything! I am going to avenge mom one day and kill who ever killed her, I'm sure of it. I waited for him to continue.
"It all starts fourteen years ago." He repeated from last time. "Long story short, She was beat up and you almost died too, but your dad saved you by bringing your mom to the hospital. Actually, you should ask your dad how mom died, because he was there. It was not a pretty death my dear, that's for sure. " He said, circling around the room. Every once in a while he would make eye contact with me, making a creepy smile, as usual. Why can't he just leave me alone. Last time, all he told me was that dad was around, or near by. I waited for him to continue. "That's all I have to say." He snickered, walking towards me quite quickly. I looked up at him questioning why he was up in my face. As I was about to let out a muffled question, he smacked me straight across the face. No, it wasn't one of those sissy slaps one of those stupid wanna be girls use to smack you with, it was a smack so hard, it felt like i jumped into a pool twenty feet down, and instead of a belly flop, I landed on my face. Tears pricked my eyes as I was about to cry.
"Now Jordan, there's no need to cry! That was a soft slap, and it just proves how weak you are dear. Your mother put up a far stronger fight. Don't tell me a pregnant woman is stronger than you! What a shame deary." The man continued on, but I was starting to lose focus. Al I could think about was the pain in my cheek. Slowely, the room started to fade, as if I was losing consious. I looked up at him as his smile grew.
"Good bye dear. I'll visit soon. You'll only remember this as a dream, but I would really recommend asking your dad about your mom. Like who killed her. Bye bye." He said, his voice fading like my sight. Right then and there, I passed out.
