Alex POV

"I don't get why I still have to go here," I said pouting while appearing at some entrance to this so called camp.

It had two pillars that looked as ancient as hell itself. The writing across a marble plate read "CAMP HALF BLOOD" but in ancient greek.

Hades glanced up, "Because your a demigod Alex. That's why. Your not meant to stay with a God let alone be trained by one."

"But why did you-"

"Because I just did," Hades shouted sternly, "And I had to okay..leave it there. Now let's go."

I huffed and slung my backpack over my shoulders taking a few steps before Hades pulled me back.

"Wahh," I yelled. I turned around and looked at him, " What was that for?"

Instead of answering he pulled me into hug.

"Alex promise me you will never lose what's important to what's in front of you. Okay?"

"I promi-"

"No, really mean it."

Looking him dead in the eyes, "I promise."

"Good, now Chiron-the head person in charge- already knows who you are. He will help you around the camp or ask a camper to help you. Play nice, make friends, interact, the usual thing."

He pulled me into a hug once more.

"Here," he said latching something onto my neck, "Its a necklace. All you have to do is rip it off and it becomes your Stygian sword. Also, on here is your dads skeletal ring. It meant a lot to him and he wanted me to give it to you so you would know that he's always there along the way."

Grabbing the necklace and peering down at it I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks and trust me I will. I'll see you some time around Grandfather. Probably on a quest," I told him.

"You will. Trust me," he said grinning.
"Be safe in there Alex."

He disappeared and with that I took a deep breathe and stepped through the entrance of my new home.
