I smile at the thought of how blessed I was with the parents I had. I then give Nicholas a big bear hug and he hugs me back even harder. I feel him letting out a few tears as well and wipe them off but I decide not to react to it. We slowly start to pull away from each other but we both stop, and our eyes meet. All I want to do is kiss those lips that were calling me and I knew he felt the same way. As we got closer and our lips were about to touch, we hear the front door open.

Scarlett POV
Oh shit we are so dead, so so dead. I look at Nick and panic, he looks at me and whispers,
''Calm down I got this'' He gives me a smile as I sit as as still as I could. He goes to the kitchen and comes out from there to the hallway. At this point I was glad that we had a long hallway so they had not seen us yet.
''Hey guys!'' He calls to my parents.
''Nick!'' My mom calls to him.
''Where's little man'' He refers to my brother.
''Him and his friends stayed behind, they wanted to check out the college for while longer but his gonna come back with his friends mother and sleep over tonight. He'll come back home after school tomorrow. Would you help Adam with the bags? I need to use the bathroom so bad!'' My mother exclaims and I start to panic. What's going to happen if she see's me in Nickolas's shirt!
''Uh- wait! Is that Shadow outside?'' He comes up with an excuse to get my mother out of the house.
''Oh no I didn't even see him get out, Shadow don't go to Mrs. Williams you know she doesn't like dogs, damn it!'' I hear my mother run out with her tall heels making as much sound as they can. Nicholas comes back in the living room.
''Go up quick and change before Adam comes in, he's still by the car getting your mothers bags. We are lucky she always pack too much plus Shadow actually left the house'' I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he was covering for me, well us but still.
''Thank you'' I quickly give him a kiss on the cheek which I had never done before, I noticed it had made him blush but I had to get upstairs before my dad comes in. Once I get into my room I close the door and quickly change into my own white T and a pair of grey sweatpants, I go into my bathroom and put down my hair. It was still straightened from the night before so I just brush it out and go downstairs to greet my parents.

As I walk down I see my mom bringing in Shadow and my dad with Nicholas bringing in my mom's bags. I knew it was hers just from seeing how many there were.
''Mom do you always need to bring so much stuff with you'' I say with a giggle.
''You know your mother Scarlett, she's always got to be prepared'' That was definitely a sweet way of putting it. I catch Nicholas staring at me most likely because of that peck I gave him before, I liked seeing him blush.
