Author's POV

"Im sorry Rose," Bom was hugging Rose while both of them are crying, "You should never EVER runaway again!"

"Im sorry eomma..."

"No, i'm sorry..." Bom pulled away from the hug, "I'm sorry for everything... Not thinking about you, all of you," She looked at her kids, "I failed to be a mother..."

"No! You didn't eomma!" Jimin yelled, "you never failed us!"

"That's right!" Rose agreed.

"Eomma, you may have done mistakes in the past, but that's part of being a human being. Please don't be sad." Chanyeol said maturely.

Bom smiled then her eyes landed at Joy. She was looking down with a poker face.

It was morning. The kids slept with Bom at her bedroom, but Joy stayed at Sungjae's place for the night.

Bom woke up first and made breakfast. She then looked at her phone and called Joy.

"Yes?"

"Joy... We are having a family party at your appa's place at 7 pm."

"Ok."

"Wait... Nevermind."

"Ok. Bye. I love you."

"I love you too..."

The call ended. Bom was really guilty. She wants to owe it to her but how? She hurt her feelings. She left when she was only 18 years old. Chanyeol acquired to be a heir of Choi's Company right when they divorced. This caused Chanyeol to leave being the oldest making Joy to be the most responsible one.

Joy was at highschool and was a model. She was a busy lady. She tried her best to make up what Bom forgot to show Jimin and Rose and mainly the 3 years Bom wasn't at.

Chanyeol kept working. He's working for more than 10 hours (started working at 6 am.) and the papers doesn't look like it's decreasing.

"Sir, Chungha has come to visit."

"What?" Chanyeol saw Chungha outside and stood up, "tell her to come in."

"Hey!"

"Hi Ms. Chungha."

"Oppa stop with the formality."

They both smiled. They then started eating forgetting about the time.

It was 7 p.m.

Everyone was here except for Joy and Sunjae. Chungha came along and Top was being suspicious towards them. He loves to but-in his son's love life.

15 minutes later, Joy came. She didn't looked at Bom's eyes avoiding it.

"Well, looks like everyone is here," Top looked at Chungha, "If someone becomes a couple here, you'll see what happens once a month over at my house."

"Appa." Chanyeol glared.

Top chuckled, "I'm just saying."

Chungha laughed and blushed.

Everyone was having fun. Chungha ended up playing checkers with Top and he kept losing making him want to retry again. Chanyeol keeps persuading for Top to stop.

Top lost for the 6th time, "L-lets try again."

"Appa..."

"Chanyeol, shut up."

Chungha laughed.

On the other side, Jimin and Rose was playing with Top's puppy, Max which is the son of Charlie. The wife of Charlie. The owner of the wife let Top own one of the puppy which is Max.

"Oppa, i miss Charlie..."

"I do too Rose..."

Sunjae went home because he had a business trip to go to. Joy wanted to leave, but didn't.

"Joy, can i talk to you?" Bom asked.

Both headed to the second floor on the terrace. It was a bit chilly since fall was starting.

"Are you still mad at me?"

"What do you think so?" Joy looked straight at Bom, "You left leaving us behind. Chanyeol made himself busy making him collapse during work. Jimin was in the hospital after having a really bad fever. Rose got depressed. That all happened when you left. We were already sad when you and appa divorced, but you made it sadder..."

Bom looked down, "How about you? I know you took care of them dearly when i left. I left the mother role for you. It's hard. I admit those mistakes and i'm sorry, but i know a sorry is not enough.."

Joy broke down, "I don't need a sorry! I need you eomma! I need the love you showed us before you and appa divorced! I want that love back..."

Bom hugged Joy, "So you're saying, you want to be treated as a baby again?"

Joy laughed, "eomma!" She whined as she wiped her tears while hugging Bom tightly.

The party ended on a happy note. No matter what happens, family is family, by blood or non-blood. Every conflict can be resolved if you are willing to.

"Ok! That's enough appa, it's 10 and Chungha needs to go home!" Chanyeol pulled Chungha while Top was begging to play another round.

Chanyeol pulled Chungha outside onto the car.

Jimin and Rose ended up sleeping on the couch with Max hugging both of them.

Joy slept on her room with Bom.

Top was whining about losing the game while walking towards his room after putting blankets above the 2 maknae.

"Aigoo... Today was filled with happiness..."

"Of course. Why wouldn't it."

The old couple looked on the dark blue sky on the terrace with Halabeoji hugging halmeoni with a blanket wrapped around them.

Posted this early as a gift for my bday. (My mom said apparently some Chinese give gifts to family members when it's their bday rather than receiving a gift from them) Also wanted to post this right after "School problems" because this is basically the solution for that chapter.
