I can't bring myself to say this,
But maybe it's for the best.
We were toxic.
Maybe not that.
We both have our demons,
Which I understand.
But what I can't comprehend,
Is all these thoughts stuck in my head.
You were my best friend till the end.
Maybe it's a new beginning,
But I'll never forget,
All the smiles you had brought,
All the memories I'll never forget.
I just want you to know,
You'll always have a place in my heart,
That will never be mend.
All i can say,
Is I'm sorry it had to end.
