Nothing feels the same,
Without hearing you call my name.
Nothing seems the same;
Ever since things have changed.
We used to call at night,
You made everything feel alright.
Now we've grown distant.
I guess you could say it wasn't worth it.
All the pain and torment,
All the heartbreak and now its permanent.
I miss how you held me,
It felt like the perfect thing.
But one thing that wasn't perfect,
Was always hidden beneath the seams.
No matter what I did,
It always seemed to be me.
The one who was always in the wrong,
But I know its not just me.
Believe me when i say,
I've never felt hurt this way.
All the guilt keeps building up,
And nothing will be enough.
I dont know what I feel,
But one feeling I know is real;
What we had,
I wish it could have been more real.
