                       -Hyunjins POV-

The next group up was red velvet, at least they were supposed to be going up. That was until after waiting for their appearance for two minutes, the lights went out. At first, the anxiety of what happened the other night started to come back. But a projector lit up the screen displayed for everyone to see. The first slide is what broke me.

"In Remembrance of Red Velvet"

All of them were gone. Not one member of Red velvet remained. I didn't know them, hell I can't even remember how many there were of them. But if that were us? If that were stray kids who had all died out. I wouldn't want my name forgotten. I wouldn't want there to be any trace of us left in the world anymore. All the hard work and sacrifices Red Velvet made for our community were unbelievable. They were the nicest girls you could have met. I don't know how the hell they ended up in a mafia,

I suddenly felt the need to look at my friends. At the people who I grew up with, and been through hell and back with. And how lucky I am to have them with me, by my side and alive. I couldn't imagine, growing up with people my entire life, and suddenly losing all of the at once. Forcing yourself to keep fighting. Luckily, I only lost one member. That still affected all of us so bad I won't even think about if we lose anyone else. We, being stray kids, were not known, or had been around long enough to be close to Shinee. But I hear the stories all the time, from whispers and remembrances we have at every meeting of them. Listening to Monsta x or Got7 tell us about how everyone loved them.

Seungkwan's pov

There were five members of Shinee. Jonghyun, Key, Taemin, Minho, and Onew. They went to America. Legend has it they were the best of the best, nothing or anyone will ever stop them. That was until they got into American territory. One day they went in for a mission, something about bad blood with this American mafia. Well, they were gone for two years, with no communication. Now, this was fishy but not extremely concerning, considering when most people go on one mission in another country, it takes months a year at the most. That wasn't until it was the 2017 Galla. Jonghyun came bursting through the doors. Covered in blood, and scratches, his clothes were completely torn. His arm was barely hanging onto the bone. Shownu said it was the scariest moment of his life. For a second no one knew how to react. It took 3 seconds for anyone to jump to help him. Once people did, they say the people who took him to get help said, he wouldn't stop saying. "Please save them. Please save them." over and over again. One of those people was Jimin, whenever we are told the story he kind of looks away, especially during this part.

Once Jonghyun finally recovered. Still, the only words he said were, "Please save them." Wendy from red velvet asked him, "Save who? Where are your members." now considering no one else showed up with him I think they all knew that answer but just didn't want to face the facts.
Jonghyun had finally mentally recovered enough to tell them what happened, Meanwhile, VIXX, Bigbang, GG, and even SVT members were on their way to America to find the others, because surely they were alive right? Wrong. When they walked into where the last cell phone pinged. Blood was everywhere. Body parts, limbs. So bad they couldn't even identify who was who. The American gang had surprised them, inside entail on their arrival. They jumped them. Left nothing of them. Everyone who saw it was scared and had PTSD for years. I mean yea we are in a gang, but those are our friends dying out there. It's going to mentally scar people. After a couple of months, they held a funeral for the four lost members, the biggest turnout of a mafia funeral for decades. Jonghyun was still a mess, mentally not ok. Never smiled. No emotions whatsoever. A couple of months later and he still wasn't better. Taeyong from NCT went to go do a checkup on him after no one heard from him for an entire day. When taeyong walked into the apartment, there he was. Hanging in his living room, lifeless. Taeyong did not recover for months after that.
