The next morning was sluggish. Everyone was heavily hungover from the previous night's festivities and had not awoken yet, except one person. Rocky. rocky had been up for a few hours now and decided to pass the time by making breakfast and hangover drinks since he knew how rough the day was going to be. Rocky was an emotional and sentimental person, however, he just didn't like to put that on display. So the early morning hours, it's usually the only time he has to himself. He couldn't help but be sluggish and solemn. Ever since the incident, he hasn't slept right. Minhyuk was one of his best friends. All of Monsta x and most of the Seventeen boys were his best friends. He hasn't taken the time to properly mourn the loss of Minhyuk, so maybe that's why everything feels so off to him. well, that and this crazy plan they have going on. Sending three groups, out of the Country, to kill a gang we know nothing about. Something extremely dangerous and crazy. Then the three teams staying here to fight Seungri, which is just as dangerous at this point. Rocky isn't a fan. Especially since he won't be seeing Moonbin, Sanha, and Eunwoo for God knows how long. He couldn't help but get emotional, who wouldn't? He just wishes more than anything that all of this never happened, that this was all just some horrible dream he was having and when he wakes up, he'll see an unread text message from Minhyuk from the night before Or he will take notice of Cheol complaining in the group chat that Jeonghan and Joshua kept him up all night with their bickering. Or maybe Jimin and Vernon would be ganging up on Bam for the ninth time that week about how obnoxious he could be. Rocky never took notice of these things happening before. Of course, he wouldn't, they were normal occurrences for him and now they have come to an abrupt stop, and he didn't know how to coop with it.
Rocky was still making breakfast while all of these thoughts raced through his head, he had been distracted and accidentally burned himself on the hot stove that he was using.
"ah shit."
Rocky turned off the stove and walked over to the sink where he ran his palm under cold water. At this point, he could cry. Having all of these different emotions at once and then burning himself wasn't the best, it couldn't get worse though.
"Minhyuk! what the hell happened?"
Rocky's heart just dropped to his ass. He heard one voice, and hoped when he turned around, it was only one person, however, all his best friends stood at the counter. The voice Rocky heard was Hyungwon's, hard not to recognize. however beside Hyungwon, were Jooheon, Jinjin, and Seungkwan. Now he was going to cry.
"Don't call me that, and I'm fine I just tapped the stove." rocky stated. He usually didn't mind being called Minhyuk, but after recent events, he didn't like the sound of it.
"Stop being a baby and let me see" Seungkwan rolled his eyes as he made his way over and checked Rocky's finger. Seungkwan was always a motherly figure kind of friend. Always bugging everyone to take their vitamins and supplements. As Seungkwan patched up his finger, Hyungwon began taking over the cooking
"Hey, I can still cook, I didn't lose my finger" rocky stated, pulling his hand away from seungkwan, and slightly pushing Hyungwon away from the Stove. The other stared blankly, not used to this kind of reaction by the other.
"minhyuk-" Jinjin tried.
"I said don't call me that." rocky once again, more demanded than stated as he turned to look at the others. "Don't call me by that name ever again." Tears were beginning to brim in his eyes. From before the sun even began to arise, Rocky was up his mind racing. The morning had been rough, emotional, and lonely, and right now everything feels like something else to add to the pot.
"I'm sorry, It's just a habit okay." His leader apologized.
"Min- rocky, is something going on?" Jooheon asked.
